A new dramedy series which centres round Erica Strange: 32, smart and pretty. But her life’s going nowhere and she can’t help but blame her past for her current misfortune.

Back in high school, Erica thought she’d grow up, meet ‘the’ guy, get ‘the’ career, have a couple of beautiful, talented children and ride off into the sunset. But somehow, it never happened.

Suddenly she's presented with the chance of a lifetime. After a series of mishaps, she finds herself in hospital where she meets the mysterious Dr Tom - a therapist who seems to know a lot about her.

Dr Tom issues Erica with a challenge: if she wants to fix her life he can help, but once she’s committed, she can’t back out. Desperate, Erica accepts his terms, and finds herself flung back into her own past as she discovers that DR Tom can help her travel back in time.

As the pair start the adventure of her life, the show asks: "If you had the chance to go back in time, what is the one thing you would change?”

Byrdie (played by Kirstie Alley) is approaching 50 and is frustrated with the young executives who surround but ignore her.

She has just completed what she believes is the finest script of her career, but she can barely get her own agent on the phone, let alone convince a studio executive to read it.

Using her own story-telling credentials, she concocts a masterful plan to resurrect her career by enlisting the help of her handsome 20-something nephew Neil (Eric Christian Olsen - The Loop; Tru Calling).

Byrdie continues to write behind the scenes, while he markets himself as the writer, and pitches her projects around the studios. The plan to resuscitate Byrdie’s career works like a dream, but how long can Byrdie’s pretence last?
