A headsup that Face Of Africa (Da Revolution) premieres on M-Net Series tomorrow - Saturday, 31 October at 17h00.Skinny Facts* Previous seasons of the show have been on M-Net as a four episode Special that showed the build-up to the Finale but this year it's gonna be a 17-episode series on M-Net Series.* The show opens with the prelim auditions from 16 countries round Africa. Castings have been happening over the past few months and 24 semi-finalists were chosen.* The 24 then go to stilletto camp (boot camp) in Mombasa, Kenya to flex their scrawn, brawn and catclaws to find the Top 12.* The camp and surrounding action's hosted by 2005 winner Kaone Kario:
* The series also shows the schmodels at Swahili Fashion Week, filming a music video with D'Banj and doing fash shoots for mags, TV etc.
* The result: the Top 12 chosen at the end of stiletto camp will swagger it for the win in a live Finale in Lagos, Nigeria on Saturday, 6 February 2010.
* The prize: $50 000 plus a modelling contract with O Model Africa - the agency owned by the very first season's winner Oluchi Onweagba.
* Supermodel Iman's also involved with the show - her cosmetic company's a sponsor.
* Last year at the show's press conference the organisers said that there were plans for a plus-size competition too but there hasn't been a sniff of it.
