Tonight's SA's Got Talent wraps the countrywide auditions and features the announcement of the Top 21 finalists.
The show is split into two segments: the first half covers the remaning auditionees and in the second half: judges Shado, Ian and Randall tackle the task of whittling down 152 acts to 21.
Some of the hopefuls still to come: in Jozi there's a 14-year-old singer Julian Hepburn and an environmentally friendly Gregory Mabusela who performs on the “Keke” horn - an instrument made out of recycled plastic.
There's a guitarist who goes by the name of Louwtjie Rothman - she manages to impress the judges - a stark contrast to 29-year-old Manjonjo, who dresses in a balaklava and SAPS uniform and ends up delivering a criminal performance.
Cape Town auditions include a 40-year-old voice coach, F.A.I.T.H, who does her first ever audition - in her life. We have no idea how anyone can be a good voice coach and never have auditioned for anything a but still, word is, she's quite good.
There's also a potentially horrific twin act called Twism, a drumming act The Amateurs, a dance act Freeze Frame and a singing duo called Dee Jay Destiny.
Once the auditions are over the judges lock themselves up behind closed doors to debate and choose the finalists.
Keep a lookout on TVSA tomorrow for news on the acts who make it through. Then, next week:
.... the show will be on daily for the Semi-Finale stage. Seven acts perform live Monday to Wednesday between 19h30 and 20h30.
