Tuesday 1 December 2009Episode 627 Lu initially resists the idea - proposed by David and Wandi - that she accepts post-traumatic counselling.
Miles confesses to Naomi that he feels guilty about sleeping with her because she has a disabled husband. Mamokete discovers that Jacob has lapsed into a coma.
Wednesday 2 December 2009Episode 628 David encourages Wandi to return to work while Lu experiences a break-through in her counselling sessions with Curtis Lensing…whom we discover (secretly) works for David.
Jacob's health has deteriorated to the point that he will die if he doesn't receive a donor kidney soon. Gail and Shaznay come to terms with the fact that Lorenzo just isn't father material.
Thursday 3 December 2009Episode 629 As Jacob faces certain death, it becomes harder for him to hide the secret of Stone's paternity. Kop finally realises the real depth of feelings between his wife and his brother.
Naomi continues to weave her sexual web around Miles, manipulating him into having dinner with her husband. Under the influence of Curtis, Lu continues to have therapeutic breakthroughs … that cast doubts on her relationship with Wandi.
Friday 4 December 2009Episode 630 Lorenzo tells Shaznay he's ready to be a father, but she is determined to move on and absolve him of his parental responsibilities. The gulf widens between Wandi and Lu - and that means David's plan is working. Miles, Naomi, and Dan have the dinner from hell, and Jacob decides to tell Stone the truth.
Monday 7 December 2009Episode 631 Kop tries to declare his love for Mamokete, but it pales in comparison to what she feels for Jacob. Miles is shaken after his strange evening with Naomi and Dan.
Gail, under instruction from Lorenzo, tries to convince Shaznay to give him a second chance. Wandi and Lu are heading for a major misunderstanding and the possible end to their friendship. Ronald poses as Travis Tramplemain, a man with a false leg.
Tuesday 8 December 2009Episode 632 Wandi breaks down on air and is then told by Lu that perhaps they should part. Naomi quizzes Dan about the inexplicable visit of Travis Tramplemain and tries to argue her way back into Miles' bed. Kop tells Stone that Jacob is his biological father. Lorenzo proposes to Shaznay.
Wednesday 9 December 2009Episode 633 Stone reacts badly to the news of his true paternity. Miles gets surprising information about Naomi from Dan. A secret is revealed when Naomi opens an old album. Lu and Wandi have a big fight. When Mamokete blames herself as her family unravels, Jacob offers her a shoulder to cry on. The gang bids farewell to Shaznay and Lorenzo.
Thursday 10 December 2009Episode 634 Fats is horrified he is going to have to babysit Mpumi's cousins. Suffocate, on the other hand, is excited about the imminent arrival of Pule. Naomi punishes Dan for "breaking the rules".
Tshidi confronts her mother about her relationship with Jacob. Thula does his best to calm Stone. Kop asks Mamokete to make a decision about their relationship.
Friday 11 December 2009Episode 635 It soon becomes clear to Suffocate that Pule is no longer the young township boy he sent to private school. Stone goes home to demand some answers from Jacob and Mamokete.
David's fascination with Naomi grows as he is more convinced than ever that she has more than a few skeletons in her closet. He orders Ronald to find them.
Monday 14 December 2009Episode 636 Naomi continues to punish Dan. Alone at home Lu is terrified when the lights suddenly go out, so she phones David for help…then asks him to stay the night. Jacob tries to kiss Mamokete.
Stone visits Jacob to tell him that he forgives him and accepts him as his father. Suffocate has difficulty connecting with Pule, who has been somewhat transformed by his private school.
Tuesday 15 December 2009Episode 637 Mamokete is torn at the sight of Stone and Jacob bonding, to the exclusion of the rest of the family. Tshidi tries to persuade Kop to come home. Suffocate questions Pule about his strange behaviour and the alienation grows between the two. Lu makes a serious request to David.
Wednesday 16 December 2009 (Day of Reconciliation)Episode 638 David returns home to Lu. Mpumi's cousins are beginning to show their true colours.
Suffocate continues to struggle to relate to Pule's snobbery. After a meeting with a desperate Dan, Ronald learns there is more to Naomi than meets the eye. Armed with this intelligence, David sets off to do some fieldwork of his own and resolves to sabotage Hustle using Naomi.
Stone offers to donate a kidney to Jacob.
Thursday 17 December 2009Episode 639 Ronald pays Dan another visit and discovers he is the victim of abuse at the hands of his wife. David, learning of this, instructs Ronald to make Dan an offer he can't refuse. Stone tells his family that tests have determined he and his dad are compatible with regard to a kidney donation/transplant.
Friday 18 December 2009Episode 640 Suffocate's frustration with Pule finally spills over when he accuses the boy of being a private-school brat. Naomi connects the web cam from Dan's home computer to her work computer and forces him to watch her seduce Miles.
Stone is determined to donate his kidney, no matter the possible risk to his own life. David develops a cunning plan to make Lu believe he is sharing all his inner thoughts and feelings with her. The plan fails miserably when Curtis takes things too far in a therapy session.
Monday 21 December 2009Episode 641 Miles' suspicions are aroused when he catches Naomi speaking to Dan via the office web camera. Lu surprises David when she tells him she feels closer to him as a result of their joint counselling session.
Will the Khuse family be able to prevent the kidney transplant? Thula thinks he's stumbled onto the reason behind Pule's strange behaviour.
Tuesday 22 December 2009Episode 642 Kop still fears for his future with Mamokete, now that Jacob won't die soon. Suffo finds out that Pule has a crush on someone. Miles is disgusted by Naomi's behaviour and explanation. Mpumi insists Fats has to look after her ill-behaved cousins.
Wednesday 23 December 2009Episode 643 Kop is still staying at Ponto d'Oro and he and Mamokete are not talking. Tshidi asks her mom if they can have Christmas lunch at Stone's bedside, without Jacob. Fats and Mpumi have a fight about his lack of parenting skills with her cousins, Lebo and Sindi.
Lu agrees to stop consulting Curtis. Ronald discovers Miles and Naomi are having an affair. Miles tells Naomi they can only have a platonic relationship from now on.
Thursday 24 December 2009 (Christmas Eve)Episode 644 Dan phones Ronald relaying he fears Naomi plans to kill him. And later that day, she does attempt to murder her husband. When Kop realises Christmas dinner with Stone will entail sharing it with his brother after all, he tells Tshidi the family will have to celebrate without him.
Friday 25 December 2009 (Christmas Day)Episode 645 Naomi phones Miles for help, pretending to have discovered Dan in an incapacitated state.
The Khuses are preparing to spend their first Christmas apart from each other. Suffocate encourages Pule to finally make his move on Mpumi's cousin but is in for a surprise when the boy finally summons the courage to do so.
Monday 28 December 2009Episode 646 Naomi is panicked that Dan will wake up any second and expose her for the monster she is. However, she still takes full advantage of her husband's grave condition, using it as an excuse to further manipulate Miles.
Suffocate is throwing his annual Kilowatt Club Christmas party for the orphans. The event is marred by the growing tensions between Mpumi and Fats, which result in a big blow up. The Khuses make peace for Christmas.
Tuesday 29 December 2009Episode 647 Jacob tells Stone he wants to live with Kete as his wife and Stone as his son. Fats is conned by Mpumi and her cousins into helping with the organising of a fundraising New Year's Eve party.
Miles is finding Naomi increasingly difficult to deal with. It's an emotional farewell as Pule departs and he gets his first kiss from Sindi. David springs a trip to Zanzibar on Lu. Mamokete prays to God for help.
Wednesday 30 December 2009Episode 648 Naomi decides that if Dan won't die by himself, she will have to help him. Ronald tracks Dan through Sister Sereme and makes an educated guess as to how he ended up in a coma.
Kop is encouraged by Stone to fight for Mamokete's affections. Lebo and Sindi successfully blackmail Fats into persuading Suffocate to put on their New Year's concert at the Kilowatt Club.
Thursday 31 December 2009 (New Year's Eve)Episode 649 Dan is suffering from "locked-in" syndrome and might never recover. Naomi, claiming to want to forget all her problems, starts making urgent love to Miles.
A concerned Dr Makhatini remarks that Jacob is recovering far better than his younger and fitter son and wonders what is stressing Stone so much.
The New Year's party hangs in the balance when Suffocate finds out the girls stole his mailing list in order to promote their concert.
Rhythm City is on e.tv Mondays to Fridays at 18h30.
