A headsup that the premiere of the new season of Oprah will be on SABC3 today, Monday 14 December 2009 at 17h35.
You may have seen the
TVSA news about it. If not, a quick recap: the past nine episodes that have been broadcast have been new Season 23 episodes that arrived late from the US. They followed the repeats that were on previously.
The final, new episode was broadcast on Saturday (12 December).
Season 23 officially ends with the Season 24 premiere episode titled: "Oprah Season 24 Kick Off Party" - coming up today.
Word from SABC3 is that this is how the seasons are distributed internationally: obviously to get everyone in the mood for the new season as the old one ends.
The new season itself swings into daily action on Tuesday, 19 January 2009 at 17h35.
In the meantime, between then and now, 3Talk moves into the timeslot for the majority of the time because of the numerous cricket games coming up. The timeslot also has specials in between.
