I mentioned that there's a new reality show called MAN that's been filming in and around Cape Town. It was supposed to start on SABC3 in October last year but got held over because of soccer and festive season interruptions.
It's all on schedule to start this week
Friday (22 January) at 21h30 and on Thursday night the show had a launch shindig at Mavericks "Gentleman's Club" in downtown Cape Town. To my surprise - I only realised about 45 minutes into actually being there - Mavericks is a strip club (yeah, I know, the whole world except me knew this is what a gentleman's club is).
I cam-clicked away natch - through it all I was like. "Oooh I have to tell you that," Starting with:
THE MAN MEN
The scenario of the show: 4 men: two straight, one gay and one bisexual get into dating adventures and share their experiences.
There isn't any reality competition aspect to it - so they don't need to get married to someone or make a final choice - rather it's about what they get up to, their dating sexploits and how they see things.

THE BABES

Top Billing's Kelly Parkhurst was there with ex-Flash presenter Isabella de Villiers, who's a producer on MAN. The pair are BFF's.
Strippers in the sorts of outfits they were wearing just before they went on stage and ripped everything off. In the room next door to where the main party happened was the actual totally nude strip place - which was so bizarre to be part of I really wanted to show you. It was almost impossible though 'cos no pics were allowed so I sneakily snapped this.
A plan! I decided that the only way to try to show you more was to pretend I was having a picture taken and get the dancers "in the background". I grabbed and used my unawares pal: journo and self-confessed celeb whore Clayton Morar and got a secret source (can't say who unfort. cos of the skullduggery involved) to take this pic. 
Also spotted: Montana's Ayanda Tini watching the dancers with exactly the same expression I had.
