Music maestro Don Laka who has been hard at work with the release of his new album Poison - The New Green. He stops by the café to chat about the enviro-conscious allbum, his 10-city tour and more.
Then, a spotlight on someone to look out for: Swazi songstress Naledi King.
Also, the show pays tribute to Labella Dani following her sudden death in April. Shortly before it happened the show was invited to one of her Sandton-based performances. The show honours her with inserts from this concert, as well as snippets of her last Afro Café studio performance.

Born in Gugulethu Township, Labella started singing in church at the age of 10. Her musical prowess was discovered in 1996 when she formed a duo called La Fancy with Fancy Galada and recorded their first album titled Jazzino.
The release of her R & B album and video in 2001 propelled her star. The album was warmly received and was nominated for the best English
contemporary album and best R&B album at the South African Music
Awards in 2002.
She also released an album titled Child of the soil under the guidance of renowned jazz maestro, Selaelo Selota. Her illustrious music career saw her collaborating with various respected artists such as Ringo Madlingozi and Judith Sephuma.
