As the team was announced Vuvuzelas blared in our offices, some were shaken and shocked faces were seen all over as some players were not called out...

Here is the squad that will try to make SaSafricans proud in the coming weeks...

Strikers: Katlego Mphela, Bernard Parker, Siyabonga Nomvete

Midfielders: Steven Pienaar, Teko Modise, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Thanduyise Khuboni, Kagisho Dikgaco, Macbeth Sibaya, Surprise Moriri

Defenders: Siboniso Gaxa, Matthew Booth, Lucas Thwala, Aaron Mokoena (captain), Bongani Khumalo, Siyabonga Sangweni, Tsepo Masilela, Anele Ngcongca, Lucas Thwala

Goalkeepers: Itumeleng Khune, Moeneeb Josephs, Shu-Aib Walters

I expected Mdledle and Cale to be dropped, I was surprised by the exclusion of Bryce Moon........Benni had to go unfortunately....he will performing in the cafeteria

he has not made a mistake Benni is just not on form kuphela. And even if we lose in the WC mara okusalayo Benni would have made the loss worse.

Gotta love gullible South Africans, isn't Perreira the same man who failed to qualify us for the AFCON? The same man who left us high and dry because he needed to spend more time with his family?.

Perreira was supposed to be the 1st person to be dropped out of the squad but what do you expect when our soccer is in the hands of the Sedibes & Nematandanis, guy who can't even kick a tennis ball.

Let's just hope that all the teams that will be playing in the World Cup are like Guatemala.

Benni wanted to resign from bafana bafana, but safa begged him to reconsider. After some few weeks Benni was fired(dropped) as he was surplus to requirements. (you dont resign we fire you scenario,lol)

I'm afraid I don't think there's anything that can be done now, the battle is 2/3 lost. We just have to wait & bid to host another World Cup before we start any preparations.

The only way we're gonna qualify again is if we're the hosts other than that!

Lastly we need to do away with politics (ANC) in our sport, SA soccer is dominated by Black players and we don't hear other races crying foul about it.
