“Find your Way” 2010
“Find Your Way 2010” is a communication campaign that’s been developed by the South African Department of Transport. This campaign is an all access travel guide in getting in and around all the host cities during the 2010 Fifa World cup.
“Find your Way 2010” provides in-depth information on the world class transport system developed by the South African Department of Transport to cater for local and international soccer fans during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
“We can do it, we are certain that we will host a successful Fifa world cup in South Africa” said Sbusiso Ndebele: SA Minister of Transport.
These words will echo at every point of contact with any of the “Find your Way 2010” information mediums. These include www.findyourway2010.co.za, “Find Your Way 2010” printed/electronic travel guide booklet, “Find Your Way 2010” TV show, “Find Your Way 2010” social networks groups, “Find Your Way 2010” updates smses, Find Your Way 2010 help line and “Find Your Way 2010” newspaper inserts.
“Find your Way 2010” campaign covers the already existing transport system and newly developed facilities for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The aim is to help fans get an overview of each host city transport systems, from getting in, to getting around and most importantly getting to the stadiums, FIFA Fan Fests and Public Viewing Areas.

The “Find Your Way 2010” website provides general information on transport arrangements for the period of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. The website also offers a user friendly trip planner, maps, signs & symbols and other features, log onto www.findyourway2010.co.za for more.
There’ll also be “Find your Way 2010” interactive kiosks that house the www.findyourway2010.co.za website available around all six ACSA airports. This includes the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg/ Gauteng, thenewly built King Shaka International Airport in Durban/Kwa-Zulu Natal and The Cape Town International airport.
Travel Guide Booklet
“Find Your Way 2010” booklet covers event transport plans, travel tips, inter & inner city travel options and more. The “Find your Way”2010 travel booklet will be readily available at embassies, FIFA accredited hotels, tollgates, 2010 FIFA World Cup ticket sales outlets, airport information stands, pre World Cup Bafana games and car rental outlets. There’s also a downloadable version that can be accessed on www.findyourway2010.co.za and host cities websites.

Travel show
“Find your Way 2010” television series profiles each of the nine host cities transport system. It covers transport infrastructure developed to accommodate the increased volumes of visitors during the world cup. It also looks at all modes of transport available for getting in and around host cities like air travel, bus, mini-bus taxis, metered taxi, hired car, charted helicopters and even boats for coastal cities. Fans can check this audio visual travel guide on SABC, Africa Magic, Super Sport Blitz, Soweto TV and E TV (Flighting schedule to be confirmed). The show is also available online and can be accessed on YouTube (link to be confirmed) and Find Your Way 2010 SA Face book group. There’ll also be YouTube link on www.findyourway2010.co.za and host cities’ websites.
Updates smses
Match day updates smses will be sent to ticket holders e.g. info on nearest park & ride facilities, road closures etc

There’ll be a 24 hour help line available to assist with any event transport related queries.
