Just when you think it isn't possible for the Kar'trashians to bust their way into more new shows on E! they annoyingly manage to do it. This time though they aren't in the show, but rather Kim Kardashian is ... wait for it: "Executive Producer".
Take the spin out of that to translate to: "Kim will be lazing around doing zilch, while everyone else kills themselves working to make her look flashy and important - all while needing to be extra nice and complimentary to her in case they get fired."
The series is called The Spin Crowd and it's about exactly this - the spin that surrounds celebrity personalities and events to hide the truth so as to make them sound more exciting, glam and newsworthy than they are.
To be fair to Kim and her title, if there's anyone who's had to use a
lot of spin it's her. And her sisters. And her mother. Not that creepy father - no amount of spin can transform him. Do you also find him so see-through? Like a haunting - right this moment, I can't even picture his face or anything he's ever said.
This is the description of the show:
"Command PR is a reknowned celebrity and entertainment PR agency responsible for the publicity of high-profile products and brands, as well as star-studded events and celebrity appearances.
Headed by impassioned owner Jonathan Cheban and the ever-patient Simon Huck, the pair work long hours both in and out of the office juggling the 24/7 drama that comes with their hectic schedule, complex projects and demanding clients."
As happened with
Holly's World, the series began as a once-off special called SPINindustry, which first aired on E! earlier this year. E! announced the full series in June and it debuts in the US this month, on 22 August. It premieres here in September - on the 26th at 22h30.
