Episode Title: Darfur Peacekeepers: Before and After
There are about 800 South African soldiers deployed in Darfur, as part of the United Nations' peace keeping mission. Tonight's Special Assignment features a documentary made by the UN's video unit that looks at the rotation of the South African battalions between Darfur and Bloemfontein.
The documentary covers the rotation of soldiers at the end of May specifically when 800 completed their seven-month tour of duty and flew back home as 800 other soldiers replaces them.
