Motswako this Monday (20 September, 2010):
Living in South Africa can be a confusing experience. Whether you speak Sesotho from Soweto or IsiZulu from Kwa-Zulu Natal, our cultures are a part of our heritage: unavoidable and brimming with undiscovered treasures that have flowed for generations.
To explore this more fully, tonight's guests include: Khoisan X, a descendant of an enchanting tribe; Reverend Motlalepule Chabaku - a leader who wears many hats, and SABC Group Executive Brenda Kali, who is especially honoured in light of this year’s celebration of 150 years since the first Indians set foot on South Africa’s shores.
Through interviews and conversations Penny and her guests explore who you and I and the concept of knowing who we are in order to know where we’re going.
Motswako is on SABC2 on Mondays at 21h30.
