The Wire

The Wire is a gritty police drama set in Baltimore, Maryland that considers the impact different institutions have on individuals.

The first season concentrates on the often-futile efforts of police to infiltrate a West Baltimore drug ring headed by Avon Barksdale and his lieutenant, Stringer Bell.

True Blood

True Blood is a supernatural horror drama television series, based on the Sookie Stackhouse series of novels by Charlaine Harris. The show details the co-existence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, a fictional small Louisiana town.

The series centres on Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic waitress at a bar, who falls in love with vampire Bill Compton.

Girlfriends 3
Premiere date: Friday, 29 October 2010 at 19h00
Premieres with a double bill.
Thereafter new episodes air Mondays to Wednesdays at 21h45. (The show moves to a new timeslot for November)


In the Season 3 premiere: In an attempt to find her perfect mate, Joan invites her friends' ex-boyfriends to a party. Later, Maya and Darnell turn to a local minister for marriage counselling.
