Apparently nhe, in Uganda homosexuality is illegal and gay people can be sentenced to 14 years in prison or death penalty. That's why Ernest was "disappointed" in Biggie that he hasn't kicked Luclay out of the house for calling him homo. My point is, Luclay is not Ugandan and in South Africa, our constitution is not sick and we can be gay and we can call people what we think they are. I am not condoning Lucy's apparently destructive behaviour, iim jus condemning Ernest's "I'm bigger than life" reaction. Sick.

Taken from the bba website:
Big Brother delivered a Task Wager message through Head of House, Millicent. Housemates will be tied together for the entire duration of their Task.

After much deliberation, Headsmates were unanimous in their decision to wager 50 percent.

As Housemates were busy deciding who will be tied to whom, Millicent read instructions and it turned out that it was Big Brother decision as to who will be tied to whom for the next three days.

Vina and Hanni will be flanking Lomwe. It would be interesting to see how Lomwe behaves when in close proximity of two ladies he once heavily flirted with. Would there be a Catfight for his attention or would they ignore him?

Headsmates will have five minute breaks every hour for bathroom. They will only be exempted from being tied during shower hour, but they have to come up with a way to sleep in a unit.

When Danny was called into the chatroom by BB to get the task, he took his time - finishing off some food. BB called him the secod time and when he went in, BB's voice was quite stern - telling Danny that in future when BB calls you to the chat room, you are to come immediatelly regardless of what you are doing. Danny is then told to get the task details, summon the HM's and read it to them. Danny goes out of chatroom, straight to Luclay outside in a nonchalant way and they start discussing love/women - it was comical, his face didn't show any sign of one who was just reprimanded, but i think it was his way of protest. A few seconds later he was summoned by BB into the chatroom and really got it - a clearly irritated BB warned him and ordered him to summon HM with immediate effect. which he then did, with more immediacy albeit nonchalantly. GO DANNY!!!!

When they finally got the task, they wagered 75%. Almost immediately one could see that it is going to be a tough three days. The smokers wanted to smoke; someone hadn't washed; some hadn't eaten and the task demanded them to attach themselves immediately. They then agreed to go outside and smoke (it took a good ten minutes of manouvering) - they went upstairs into their rooms, picked up whatever they needed (sweaters, blankets, smokes), made their way to the kitchen (some made cereal, snacks,others got drinks) and finally outside. Which was when Luclay then decided to relax his hair of all things - there he is with relaxer being put on his head, a cigarette in the one hand, it was a sight while other's stood their quite uncomfortably. Kim discovered her avatar's head was broken and she throws a fit, but no one owns up - bigups to Miss P as she managed to calm Kim down, saying that all it needed was glue. Bhoke looks miserable, already complaining that they walking too fast; Kim is going to make things difficult, already yelling that she can't stand long and she won't play ping pong wa wa; Ernest is trying but looks miserable; Luclay laughing and we can expect him to step on some toes and be quite demanding with his constant need to smoke.They must have managed to get comfortable as i switched off the tele at that point. That's all i got.

Thanks for the updates Zinnia...This task is going to be difficult...I expect more blow outs in tails while heads will probably suck it up and find a way to make it look like they were always attached to each other...Do they have to be attached even at night...and who is attached to who? Finally, who chose who is attached to who?

Stolen from BB website: During her Tuesday Chat session, Sharon told Big Brother that she has no doubt that Vina wants Lomwe. That makes it a very awkward situations as Lomwe former love interest, Hanni is tied next to him, with Vina on the other side. Sharon is convinced that it is just a matter of time before Vina makes on Lomwe, despite Confidence and Hanni advising her to the contrary.

Vimbai chat room session About this weeks task, she says that she needs a lot of patience as it is going to be difficult. She also adds that she sees herself, Confidence, Weza and many others losing it. About who is egocentric in the house, she points to Zeus and Lomwe. About the characteristics that are in a successful H/mate, she begins by pointing out the fact that this H/mate must be true to himself as well as entertaining. When asked whether their could be one like that in the house, she requests for more time to figure out who that H/mate could be.

Zeus chat room session He begins by admitting that this weeks task is very challenging. He also adds that they will try to catch up with the task by tomorrow and possibly win their wager. About the characteristics of a successful H/mate, he says he/she should be able to make his presence felt in the house and also be able to contribute to the various chores in the house. However, Zeus is given a secret task. He has to fall asleep when his fellow H/mates are busy doing tasks/chores so that he must be woken up. He is free to fall asleep even in the middle of a conversation. This task has a secret reward to it upon its successful completion.

Some one who is not too much, can get along with people easily, doesnt lose temper; he says are the characteristics of a successful H/mate. About how they could perform during their wager, he says that its alright.

Lomwe chat room session About todays task, he says that so far so good although Himself and Wendall have been through the same over the weekend. He also hopes that his fellow H/mates would learn from them. About the challenges involved, he says that the guys are not so much affected but the ladies are as they have to do certain personal things[like putting on make up]. He also reveals that his attachment with Wendall over the weekend taught him a lesson to be considerate and give up other individualistic things. About who could be egocentric in the house, he points to Confidence whos still a lil bit bossy and also adds Weza who likes throwing tantrums at people when they are wrong. He also adds that for the past couple of days they have changed. A person with a vibrant personality, who gets along with an average person and who can compromise are some of the characteristics of a successful H/mate, he says.

Millicent chat room session About how she feels being Hoh, she says that shes enjoying it as it is fun. She adds that she doesnt want to be bossy to her fellow H/mates and just gives them options. She denies the fact that theres an egocentric individual in the house. She also reveals that this weeks task is difficult but also says that they will win their wager as they can adjust. She also says that the walking with the pedometers is going on well. As she leaves the chat room, She is told to discuss with the entire house how they can each contribute decibels so as to make Lomwes birth day this Saturday Fabulous and successful.

Vina chat room session About this weeks task, she responds,strange but ok i suppose. About the wager, she thinks they will do well in the wager as they are coping well with each other. One has to be spontaneous, funny, a listener, good communication[both as a group and individually] and a good team player are some of the characteristics of a successful H/mate. She adds that they all possess these characteristics but separately. When asked a question; you spend a lot of time on surface issues, what do you think lies underneath?, she says that there are people in the house who do not want to reveal themselves as it could be to their disadvantage when playing their game.

Hanni chat room session The mood in the house is fine and everybody is quiet, she begins. About the task, she reveals that it is very interesting. She also adds that it will be interesting to see each other enduring one another for at least 3 days. About the wager, she thinks they will win even though they should have raised the stakes a little higher[100%]. About the issue of egocentricity, she reveals that no ones ego will affect their task. When asked a question; you spend a lot of time on surface issues, what do you think lies underneath?, she thinks they normally do go deeper and not on the surface. She adds that they normally address their issues properly and those they dont go pending for certain reasons.

Felicia chat room session She begins by revealing her worries! She says that she is worried about this task as she doesnt believe that they will put up with each other in this state. She also reveals that they already had a disagreement on the sitting arrangements. She also adds that this is bound to carry on and thats why shes worried. She also points to peoples egos that could lead to them losing their wager when performing this task. She points out Vina and may be Confidence. She also says that it could be difficult for them to stop Confidence and Wendall from smoking if the urge for smoke arises. She advises that all they have to do is to work together as a team if they are to win this task.

Sharon chat room session She begins by revealing that they have to work as a team so as to successfully do this weeks task. About the challenges when tied together, she reveals that she has gotten incidents where she has been affected. She reveals how her pedometer was sent back to the zero level when she had gotten out of the chain to go to the wash room. She adds that she also got her ear ring off her ear due to the same. She however hopes that they dont clash as a result. She also adds that Biggie intentionally chained Vina-Lomwe-Hanni together in that order. She also reveals that Vina has strong feelings for Lomwe and could over power Hanni whos inhibited by the Ethiopian traditions to show her feelings towards the same Man[Lomwe].

Confidence chat room session She begins the session by revealing that shes feeling much better now compared to morning as she has cramps. She also expresses her discomfort with the task as she hates being tied to other people because she loves her freedom so much. She also adds that shes going to try as much as possible to adapt because they had wagered. She also reveals how challenging this task is but shes not ready to jeopardize their wager. She also hopes that each H/mate will be able to learn the implications of this. She also expresses her frustrations to biggie with the people who are loud in the house and just cant stop talking even when they run out of steam. She appeals to her fellow H/mates in Biggies voice to control the volume of their voices.

A tolerant, funny and multi-talented person could be some of the characteristics of a successful H/mate, she says. She also adds that the person has to be himself. She also points to Ernest as an egocentric person in the house because its hard to get along with him as it requires much patience.

Danny chat room session Hes finding his reign as HOh interesting as he doesnt have to struggle because everyone is cooperating, when asked about his feeling on being Hoh. He also adds that the H/mates wagered 75% and they dont want to lose this task because none wants to be broke. He also appreciates Biggie for coming up with this task as it has united them and also created cooperation. About the secret task, he reveals that he did not disclose this secret but though, they asked him about the secret reward which he told them it was his decibels he had left in his previous house and Biggie had released them through this gift. He disclosed this to Luclay and Nic. About his games in the house, he reveals to Biggie that hes the kissing teacher in the house and he has already acquired 2 students;Miss P and Kim. He also reveals that he is teaching fellow H/mates on the art of kissing and would love to acquire even more students.

Bhoke chat room session She begins by revealing to Biggie that they havent done any walking as they are tied together but adds that she had tried to do quite some good walking yesterday, when asked about the walking task. She reveals that the objective in this weeks task is togetherness and unity. She also says that shes not noticed any challenge so far in this task but fears that people might get tired and disobey the rules thereby failing to paying attention to detail.

Ernest chat room session The characteristics of a good H/mate are; understanding diversity in peoples personalities, he begins. He also says that the overall objective of this weeks task is helping H/mates to understand each other. About paying much attention to surface issues and failing to dig deeper to get underneath, he says that theres no chore interaction among the house mates and therefore people tend not to bring out issues that may offend them. Before he leaves the chat room, hes given a quote, DO NOT ASK 4 A LIGHTER BURDEN BUT 4 BROADER SHOULDERS. He loves the quote and thanks Biggie for it.

Karen chat room session About this weeks task, she reveals that its tough and hopes that they get along like they have started today till Thursday when its supposed to end. She doesnt seem interested in pointing out individuals who could ruin the success of this task. She says that shes now focusing on offering 100% towards this task. She reveals to Biggie that on Saturday she accidentally broke Kims avatar[not even knowing thet it belonged to Kim]. She also adds that when people realized today that Kims avatar was broken, she slowly went and confided in Kim the fact that she had broken her avatar. She also adds that she apologized so as to clear the guilt that was consuming her. She also reveals the pranks they have been playing against their fellow H/mates. Shes given a secret task Karen you must sleep at random times with out fellow H/mates suspected what your intentions. She has to sleep when fellow H/mates are busy which will prompt them to wake her up. She has to begin immediately.

Bernadina chat room session She reveals that jokes, funny movies could cheer H/mates up as she begins the session. She says that compromise could help them to win this task and therefore also win their wager. She adds that by Thursday morning they will need to be cheered up as already the H/mates are not loving being tied together. She also says that as time goes by, some H/mates could get aggressive. So they will be in dire need of cheerful stuff. She also makes a yes nod to the statement if you can laugh together then you can work together

Miss P chat room session About this weeks task, she reveals that they will get to know each other in depth. About maintenance of this sense of togetherness, she says that they will go back to there individualistic previous behavior as after this task this sense of togetherness will stop. She also adds that they are together because they had wagered and everybody is trying very hard to ensure that they win the wager. She also adds that shes one of the most egocentric individuals in the house as when she wants something she will have to go get it no matter what. One who listens and avoids stepping on peoples toes are some of the characteristics of a successful H/mates she says as she ends her chat session.

Alex chat room session The lack of freedom and consulting your team mates for every action are some of the challenges in this weeks task, he begins. About whos egocentric in the house and could jeopardize the task, he points to Karen, Ernest, Danny as one of the characters that could clash and therefore ruin their task. He ends the session by revealing a quote to Biggie, TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK.

Luclay chat room session Hes given a chance to start the chat but doesnt seem interested in starting it. He looks mad though he isnt interested in chatting. He later reveals his frustrations to Biggie. He says that he doesnt seem to like people who are faking it when they are in the chain. He is also frustrated with the fact that they are tied together as it has jeopardized his smoking schedule. He also adds that he doesnt want people who judge others. He adds that when hes quite, thats because hes moody. With all this going on, he says that the Friday conflict could be replayed as he know where conversations might always lead to. He adds that hes not a guard in the house to keep watching over people replay the very previous mistakes they had done. He also declares that he will just sit back and eat his popcorn if its around when people make a fool of themselves by talking too much. He exits the chat room in a cheerful mood.

Nic chat room session About how he deals with Tension and stress, he says that he prays as it is important. He adds that it gives him peace, wisdom and guidance. He reveals that b4 he goes to bed, he prays for strength, wisdom and guidance. He also advises that H/mates should be aware of this both in and outside the house. About who could be egocentric in the house, he had mixed feelings previously he reveals. He at first thought that Ernest was the most egocentric H/mate but after the Luclay-Ernest confrontation last Friday, he realized that Luclay is the most egocentric house mate. He also adds that a H/mate who acts himself is the character that makes one successful. About the task this week, he reveals that hes 75% confident about winning the task esp if the Luclay-Ernest confrontations isnt replayed. He also says that so far they are doing great with the task and hopes that if by tomorrow they keep the same spirit of togetherness, his confidence could be boosted tremendously

Hi Nonwe, purhase, the whole crew :) ...... @MrsChix, on Sharon O thinking Vina's into Lomwe: during a late-night chat between Vina, Hanni and Vimbai, Vina told them she's just playing Lomwe, as I understood it, and had filled Hanni in ... kind of like she was trying to insidetrack!! Confidence joined them later and urged her to be cautious. It was the night they realised the guys had a nomination strategy going!

@Carino, though BBA takes place in SA, I'm sure the type of comments Luclay made/makes about Ernest will get back to Uganda so he's right to be concerned. Like him or hate him – and I'm no Ernest fan, nor Luclay for that matter – that's a reality in Uganda. It's even kind of worried me when I see some messages echoing Luclay's sentiments on the TV strapline. ....... That being said, I hope Ernest stays – purely because of the drama between him and Luclay!!! Eish, makes me sound like a sadist LOL ...

@MemeJ I agree with you, Uganda's anti-gay atmosphere is veeeery dangerous, a volatile situation, I was following the story of the gay couple that was arrested, released but immediately after that one of the gay activists was killed...I am nervous for him..Ernerst

I understand, but Ernest is annoying. If your country's constitution is harsh and requires the citizens to walk on eggshells - then you should act like it especially if you are in an environment where you representing your country. The south african constitution is liberal, hence south africans are free to say what they want to say (read Luclay). We do not walk on egg shells because we know that there's always a certain clause in the constitution that will protect us no matter what. So its high time Ernest started representing his country in true sense - as in shutting his mouth and sitting in a corner. Just last night he didn't know what feta cheese is and said the reason he doesn't is coz he never cooks, he's a restaurant-hopper. That was totally embarrassing and he realised it - so he should really try to be a little quiet, stop praising himself so muchan especially if he knows that there are some possibilities of him being hanged by the government he is representing.
