Isidingo's new title sequence (vid.)

Isidingo title sequence 4

Isidingo debuted a new title sequence on Tuesday night (14 June) to coincide with the anticipated arrival of new hottshots The Sibekos.

The family made their debut in the episode at a Sibeko Gold launch and stars Vusi Kunene, Linda Sokhulu, Kgomotso Christopher, Letoya Mangezi and Katt Ramaphakela.

Their arrival and their surrounding storyline suggests that the soapie will be taking a bold blast to the past by re-introducing the mines of the Deep.  If all the gold in the title sequence is anything to go by, the mines aren't depleted and the Sibekos know it.

Notable changes from the previous title sequence include the replacement of the blue undertones with gold, the introduction of the new headline cast and the inclusion of Isidingo Talent Search winner Sisa Hewana, who won the search in March last year.

His addition indicates that his time as an apprentice on the soapie is firmly over and his headline status as womanizing S'khumbuzo has been set in stone.

Here's the sequence for a closer look ... what do you think of it?

I liked it! I love it. That loud deafening trumpet is toned down. Also love the whole re-focus on the GOLD MINE. Horison Deep cnt be only about Bokamoso, The Duncan, Le Roux farm and On tv. Looking forward to the next miners strike :D

I can't wait for the drama to unfold! Nandipha is not in the new title sequence. Wow, how things have changed. The new girls are gorgeous though. And Vusi Kunene ... is gold baby. Well done Isidingo, hoping to see better ARs in the coming weeks.

>But I can't see the video Tash<

Are you using Internet Explorer maki?

I can see it fine on all browsers on my laptop but I hadn't tried it in Internet Explorer on my desktop and also couldn't see it. It played it fine in Mozilla and Chrome but not IE.

I've investigated and found other people saying they experienced the same thing in IE - they can see videos on YouTube but not videos that are embedded on other sites.

A long story short I changed two settings and it's now working on my desktop too. Give it a try and see if works for you ... (if you're using IE, ha!).

1. Change the video browsing settings on your browser first like this:

Go to Tools (in the top right hand side of the browser)
- Click internet Options
- Then "Security"
- Then "Custom level"
- Then make sure that the "Display video and anomatuon on a webpage that does not use external media player" option is checked. Enable this if it isn't enabled.
- Restart your browser.

2. Keep those settings and run Internet Explorer "as Administrator" instead of as a standard user. To do this:

- Go to Windows Explorer
- Go to Program Files,
- Find Internet Explorer and find iexplore. exe.
- Right click this and choose the option "Run as Administrator".
- By running IE as administrator it seems to overirde "Standard User" settings.

Hope this helps! It's crazy - when I investigated I found loads of people freaking out about so if you can get sorted it'll be cool for all browsing.

PS: In Step 1 the option that must be enabled is "Display video and animation on a webpage that does not use external media player."

Not anamaton, ha. Had a typo moment and don't want to make it confusing!
