Women vs men Survivor winners

During Tuesday's Survivor Xtra Liezel posed the question: "How many women have won Survivor in contrast to men?"

Shortly after the insert, tooboocoo dished the answer and the deets: in the 17 seasons we've seen here so far 7 women and 10 men have won in total.

Not the sort of news we want on Women's Day but very important to know.

Here's a rundown of the division of winners, with links to each to refresh your memory. Many thanks tooboocoo!

Interesting.
I love Tina and Parv but my fave woman ever on Survivor is probably Amanda (who made it twice to the finals and lost ;(

I dont see Robert Marawa's sister on the list ........Didnt she win a few years ago ?

@zam.ngcobo she did, but that was Survivor SA - she won Season 1. These are for the US winners.

The chicks rule in the SA version: three women and one man have won ...

Season 1: Vanessa Marawa
Season 2: Lorette Mostert
Season 3: GiGi
Season 4: Hykie Berg
