New on M-Net Terrestrial in September 2011

A headsup that M-Net has introduced two changes to the Terrestrial schedule:

The first impacts on weekday sport. The sport slot has changed times: from 07h00 - 10h00 to 06h00 - 09h30. This allows Terrestrial viewers to see the 09h30 movie. This took effect on 1 August.

The second is the daily repeat slot. The reality series repeat timeslot has changed from mornings to afternoons. So You Think You Can Dance 8 now airs on Tuesdays to Fridays, from 17h00 to 18h00.  This took effect when So You Think You Can Dance premiered on 29 August.

Weeds 7
Premiere date: Tuesday, 6 September 2011 at 22h30


Season 7 starts three years after Nancy's selfless act to save her family: Nancy's in prison and Andy, Silas, Shane and Doug are living their new lives in Copenhagen.

When Nancy is released early from prison and put on parole to a New York halfway house, she finds out that she doesn't need witness protection anymore.

Endgame

A drama series that centres round a brilliant chess master. Using the skills that made him chess champion of the world, Arkady Balagan solves the crimes that mystify others.

Traumatized by the murder of his fiancé, Balagan has become a prisoner in his luxury Vancouver hotel, terrified to step outside. To pay his bill, Balagan starts solving mysteries using an unlikely band of hotel employees and chess fanatics to do his legwork.

Arrogant, brilliant and charismatic, the Russian-born Balagan is able to envision his unknown opponent’s motives and moves. He imagines events, interviews the living and the dead, and runs conflicting scenarios all in his head. And we get to watch right along with him as he solves crimes that baffle the police.

Matthew Perry stars as Ben Donovan, the general manager of the Sunshine Center, who every night navigates a never-ending series of bizarre requests, curious mishaps and employee screw ups to put on a show for 18,000 screaming people.

Working alongside him is: his boss and arena owner Crystal, attractive, powerful and highly erratic; Alice - the cute, tomboyish marketing director and Ben's friend with benefits; Alonzo - a former basketball player, handsome and unbelievably happy; Ben's assistant - Heather, pretty, sweet, but terrifying because she once lit a boyfriend on fire; and Crystal's son, Roman - sweet-faced, clueless and Ben's newest employee.



Better with You (Resumes)

Better with You resumes from episode 12. The series premiered on M-Net in November 2011 and went on hiatus after episode 11.

The series centres round three couples, all in the same family, who are at different stages in life and love.

Game Of Thrones

GOT Final Large

HBO's critically acclaimed fantasy series based on the series of books titled A Song of Fire and Ice by George R. R. Martin.

Set in the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, where "summers span decades and winters can last a lifetime," the series chronicles the struggles among the kingdom's noble families for control of the Iron Throne.

When the series starts: additional threats from the snow and ice covered region north of Westeros and from the eastern continent across a narrow sea are beginning to rise



The Big Bang Theory 4

The Big Bang Theory returns for Season 4. In the season premiere: Howard uses a robotic arm for his own pleasure. Penny assists Sheldon with his first date.

With a delayed broadcast on Monday, 19 September 2011 at 21h30
Airs on M-Net HD at the same time

This year the live broadcast of the Emmy Awards will be on M-Net and M-Net HD instead of the Movie Magic channels. The ceremony airs live at 02h00 in the early hours of Monday morning, with a rebroadcast at 21h30 in the evening.
