So clearly the whole Montana cast and crew missed episode 3 last week on the 24th January. But for good reason - SABC1 held the official Montana launch party at Pigalle restaurant in Green Point Cape Town and was it a fabulous, fun affair MC’d by Zikhona Sodlaka (Noli)!

It was like a mini reunion for the cast and crew, some of us hadn’t seen each other since we wrapped shooting in October. So suffice to say that we all got a little crazy! Even before the dance floor ‘opened’, we were at the stage cheering on our own Lu Chase (Rochelle) as she performed in her electro-swing group 'The Swing Tings' with X and in her solo capacity.

Later on the hip-hop crew Immortal Style B-Boys performed – our own Ambrose Uren (Denver) reminded us all exactly why he’s a champ!

And the coolest surprise of the night was DA L.E.S "Mr Fresh to Death" hitting the decks! Everybody was up from their seats - even my tv mom June Van Merch was killing it!

Here’s a quick recap of episode 3 (hope you didn’t miss it due to the live Afcon game, please keep an eye on possible schedule changes) and what to expect in episode 4 (7th Feb).
- Simphiwe discovered the gangsters he works for are holding Lwazi captive. His nerve was further tested when he heard said gangsters assaulting Sparks this week and them threatening Simphiwe to stick to his ‘gig’.
Unfortunately for him, these guys don’t play nice and proceeded to stuff Lwazi/Sparks into a petrol tank, without realising Simphiwe knew him. Next week’s episode sees Simphiwe grappling with the gangster’s threats and the idea of saving Sparks.
- Dalene ate a big chunk of “shut-up” pie when it emerged at the press conference she arranged that, due to ‘certain infidelities’ on Richard’s part and divorce settlements, Vatiswa was now the major shareholder of the KCC.
Dalene of course won’t take this lying down (er-erm...) and proceeds to expose certain information to Vatiswa in a bid to break down the relations between Vatiswa and Noli.
Can the KCC and their friendship survive Dalene’s barbed attack? And Charles pays Dalene another visit after her police questioning and the press conference – after the last one with burly, scary Thuys at hand, will he be well received?
- Patrick Ntshinga takes a long overdue trip to the police station after returning from his visit to the Eastern Cape last week. But what exactly will he confess or deny? Remember the skeleton found at the KCC ground-breaking ceremony ... His wife Nothemba is also decidedly unhappy about not really knowing her husband at all.
- Poor Victor was questioned further by the police with his boss present and was then promptly fired. Noli was also questioned again by the police due to the forensic evidence pointing to a male accomplice killing Bruce Hall and she again covered up for Sparks. Next week, Noli and Victor's relationship hits the biggest iceberg thus far (no pun intended!) When it rains, it poors...
Oh, and just because it was really cool (and actually way hot!) to hang out at the J&B Met, here are a few Montana cast members as themselves at the event!

As always, please tune into next week's episode - our premiere episode saw over 4 million viewers turn Montana up so we're all very happy! Thank you! Enkosi kakhulu!
Sobonana next time
