Teaser ....Will the notorious war lord Joseph Kony finally be arrested after the highly publicised Youtube documentary?
For years Joseph Kony and his Lord’s Resistance Army terrorised Uganda abducting young girls and turning them into sex salves and kidnapped young boys turning them into child soldiers even forcing some of them to kill their families.
Now an American NGO Invisible Children has created a documentary which took the internet by storm and went viral within weeks with over 80 million hits. The documentary aims to draw international attention to Kony and to put pressure on governments to intervene and help in getting Kony arrested.
Critics say this documentary presents a distorted picture of the Uganda conflict and it is not likely to help the Ugandans. While some view it as a clever way of using the social media to highlight an important issue.
