Jack Black and Kyle Gass amplify the stage as tonight’s musical guest. The group perform their song Roadie off the new Tenacious D album titled Rize of the Fenix.

Also, El-P showcases his new solo album titled Cancer 4 Cure. He's backed by an ensemble that includes Islands’ Nick Thorburn.
Thursday 24 May 2012Betty White chats about her role in Hot in Cleveland and David tells her that she should run for presidency.
David also chats to Iraq war veteran Corporal Moses Maddox.
The final guests are musical group Best Coast. The band performs Each and Every Day from the album titled The Only Place.

Conan O’Brien headlines the show tonight. The two late-night hosts, who share the fact that they both lost the “Tonight” show to competitor Jay Leno, meet for the first public conversation in over 13 years.
The appearance marks Conan’s fifth time appearing on the late-night TV show. Letterman prods Conan to show a clip that he brought with him that turns out to be the trailer for his upcoming movie.
Also featured: John Mayer. John sits in with Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra.
