It's been a long wait for a new season but the time has arrived. The third season of
SA's Got Talent is here.
As reported on TVSA in April, e.tv has the rights to the series. It aired on SABC2 for two seasons, it disappeared for almost two years and now e.tv has stepped in to save it.
And the search begins.
The show launches a three-city audition search on Saturday, 23 June. Auditions begin in Durban, then move to Jozi and wrap in Cape Town in early July.
What's the show looking for?Any act. Any age.
The prize:R250 000
Audition venues and dates:All audition days start at 08h00 but you're advised to get there early.Auditionees must be in the registration que before 13h00 on audition days. The doors to each venue will close at 13h00.Durban Date: Saturday, 23 June
Venue: Olive Convention Centre
- Corner Somsteu Road 81 & Sylvestor Ntuli Road (Brickhill Road), Durban.
Johannesburg Dates: Saturday, 30 June and Sunday, 1 July
Venue: The Focus Rooms - The Core, 1st Floor South, Cnr Kikuyu and Leeuwkop Streets, Sunninghill, Sandton.
Cape Town Dates: Saturday, 7 July and Sunday, 8 July
Venue: The River Club - Liesbeek Parkway, Observatory, Cape Town.
What to bring to the auditions:
- Your audition number, which you will receive if you have pre-registered.
- A photocopy of your I.D or birth certificate.
- If you are under 18, your guardian must accompany you to the audition and bring a copy of their I.D / proof of guardianship.
- Arrive in your costume and bring any props etc. that you need for your act.
- Refreshments, it is going to be a long day.
- A pen – you will need to sign some forms.
