22-year-old Ugandan housemate Jannette was ousted from Big Brother last night after a showdown between herself and her StarGame partner Kyle.

The duo entered the house together and faced their fate together after Lady May and Prezzo were the first of the week's nominees to be saved.

Jannette leaves behind the final six who now go into their last week in the house: Keagan, Kyle, Lady May, Prezzo, Talia and Wati.

Here's a blow-by-blow of the action as it unfolded ...

@Tashi, the weightlifting. Oh wow! Have yet to get to that ... Mainly swimming and gymnastics today. South Africa features in swimming again later today!! Your relay team, among others. LoL at the one dude : "Kyle's like a tree, he's just there!" Will be interesting to see if he gets more votes than Prezzo and Lady May this week. Remember last time he got something like 6 countries.

It's really such a continual problem of the show that the majority of entertaining housemates leave too early leaving too many couch-sitters for the end. They reall need to tweak the format to avoid it.

Totally agree, @Tashi, on tweaking the format. Also somehow, as viewers, we get amnesia early on in the show and contribute to voting out some of the livelier housemates! Is it just me, or has regional voting been stronger this year? Apart from the fall-out between Naija and Ghana ...

Oh wow, just watching this US swimmer who won gold in 100m breaststroke. In record time. She had a heart problem and had to have surgery.Courageous to do competitive sport again, IMO.

@nst...and if anyone had told me two months ago that I would be voting for him to win, i would have spat in their face. Kyle had the most votes again, but most of his countries will vote for someone else in the final as countries like SA were voting strategically:

Angola: Lady May

Botswana: Lady May

Ghana: Jannette

Kenya: Prezzo

Liberia: Prezzo

Malawi: Kyle

Namibia: Lady May

Nigeria: Kyle

South Africa: Kyle

Sierra Leone: Kyle

Tanzania: Prezzo

Uganda: Kyle

Zambia: Kyle

Zimbabwe: Lady May

Rest of Africa: Prezzo

Total: Kyle = 6; Lady May = 4; Prezzo = 4, Jannette = 1. (Total: 15 Votes)

SA, Zambia and Malawi will switch from Kyle to Keagan, Talia and Wati. He could also lose Nigeria and Angola to Talia and end up with just Uganda.
