The 2012 YOU Spectacular Awards took place at The Teatro Montecasino on Saturday night (28 July) and delivered awards in 14 schlebrity categories.
The nominee list featured celebs and shows that have proven to be most popular with YOU readers in the past year and the winners were chosen by reader votes.
The evening was hosted by
Jeannie D, who won multiple awards as per usual. Last year she won three, this year she won two.
The Wild headlined the soapie categories winning awards in three categories.
Shona Ferguson won Favourite Actor for his role as Itumeleng Tladi,
Tyrone Keogh won the Sexiest Man award and the show surprisingly won the Favourite Soapie category.
The first award of the evening went to Morning Live's
Leanne Manas who scooped the hotly contested Favourite TV Presenter category proving that viewers are understandably concerned about who they wake up to in the morning.
The YOU Personality of the Year Award was won by Anicé Kruger, mother of burnt Pippie Kruger. She won for inspiring people with her courage and determination to find the best treatment for Pippie.
