Gontse Ntshegang joins the cast of Muvhango
Muvhango is proud to announce that the role of Mapule Modise will now be played by Gontse Ntshegang. This multifaceted actress, who is not new to our screens, will debut on Thursday, 16 August 2012. She replaces Matshepo Maleme as the new marketing gem at Mukhwevo Holdings.
Ntshegang joins a strong ensemble cast that includes Sindi Dlathu, Gabriel Temudzani, Dingaan Mokebe and other veteran actors such as Mme Lillian Dube and Cynthia Shange.
"Gontse Ntshegang brings a wealth of experience and a distinctive flavour to the character of Mapule," says Kgalema Eugene Mametse, Muvhango publicist.
“I have been shooting for the past three months and have settled quite nicely to the role of Mapule," says Ntshegang.
About the role of Mapule Modise
Mapule is the same age as Meiki. She comes from a humble family background. Her mother is a teacher and her father is a senior administrator in the department of Trade and Industry, dealing with small business development.
Mapule has always been business minded, and has her sight set on one day owning her own business, in the Maritime or Aviation industries - a company that will supply equipment in an area that is desperately lacking with people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
