An encounter with a Werewolf leads to the pair exhibiting mysterious behaviour and becoming increasingly alluring to the opposite sex - an asset which will work nicely in their favour as their intentions get more sinister.

Dr. John Keyes and his expert team are tasked with drilling down to the core and using tons of nuclear explosives to hopefully give it the boost it needs. But as the crew gets deeper into the earth, they learn the truth about what caused this event in the first place.

In the year 2050, our planet is poised to become uninhabitable. Our only hope is to find a way to build and sustain a liveable habitat on our neighbouring planet Mars.

The Mars Terraforming Project is underway but when it hits a major snag a tough female astronaut is put in charge of a rescue mission to put things back on the proper course. But the crew run into a snag of their own when their craft crash lands on Mars and leaves them without communications.

Complicating matters is the robot that was designed to protect them, which has malfunctioned and is now hunting them down.

Cobra, who’s sent in to protect her, deposits her in a quiet town for safekeeping. But a police mole leaks her whereabouts to the cult and soon they’re coming for her - but so is Cobra.

Two criminals, Jasper and Bristol, pull off a $40 million heist that leaves a trail of dead cops in their wake. Detective Edgar Clenteen will stop at nothing to get both men behind bars but succeeds in netting just Jasper.

While in his cell, Jasper suffers a fatal heart attack, but has just enough time to ask his cell mate Alvin Sanders to pass along a message to his wife. Seeing this as an opportunity to track down Bristol and the missing gold, Clenteen has Alvin secretly implanted with an experimental tracking device, and then lets him go free. Unaware that he’s being tracked, and trying to get a fresh start, Alvin soon realises that he’s been nothing more than bait.

While on a long overdue vacation with his family, his happiness is ripped away when a gang murders his family in a revenge killing. Now this cop becomes a hardened, apathetic man who climbs into a racing machine of his own, and gets revenge.

An encounter with a man called Gyro Captain sees him being taken into the camp of a sympathetic group also trying to survive. While he initially wants to rob the camp, he eventually joins them to fight a band of particularly vicious raiders.


MAD MAX 3: BEYOND THUNDERDOME

It’s been 15 years since the events of the second Mad Max and nuclear war has decimated what little was left of a post-apocalyptic earth. An older and more hardened Max wanders the Australian outback with the few possessions he has - till it’s stolen by a father son team.

A hopeless Max ends up in Bartertown, a corrupt place where warring factions fight for control. Max finds himself the right hand of one of these overlords, Aunty Entity, who wants him to kill her opponents. When he refuses, he’s strapped to the back of an animal and sent out into the dessert to fend for himself.

He’s rescued by a band of tribal children and teens that look upon him as their saviour. But those who don’t, decide to wander out in search of civilisation and soon fall into the clutches of Aunty Entity, forcing Max to search for and rescue them.

In 1939, Daniel, a brilliant young pilot thinks he’s got courage to spare. But when the love of his life is involved in an accident, his world shatters. Not sure whether she’s going to come out of this alive, he realises he doesn’t have the strength to face it.

He offers himself as a guinea pig to a friend experimenting with cryogenics, and asks to be frozen for a year. At first reluctant, they go ahead with the experiment and it works. But the project is shut down and Daniel is forgotten. Fifty years later he is discovered by two young boys who thaw him out.

Daniel is bewildered by how much the world has changed, but is helped with the transition thanks to one of the boy’s mothers – whom he forms a romantic connection with.

The encounter does not go in the favour of the vet who - believed to be dead - is dumped on a colonial planet. Here he discovers that you can live a life of peace and feel emotion, but is forced to call on his old self to defend his new home.

THE KILLING FIELDS

Based on the harrowing true story of New York Times correspondent Sidney Schanberg’s coverage of the 1975 U.S pullout from Vietnam. His greatest ally and friend is Dith Pran, a Cambodian who acts as his translator and ‘man on the inside’.

Although Dith has an opportunity to escape when the U.S. army evacuates all Cambodian citizens, including his family, he is co-erced by Schanberg into staying behind and providing further information. It turns out to be decision that has disastrous consequences when Dith is captured by the dreaded Khmer Rouge.
