Episode 1389 Things look promising for Suffocate, Zothile and Nqaba as they settle in as a unit. No one seems to have seen or heard from Shado since the previous evening and they are all getting a little frantic. Gail continues to battle with juggling motherhood and a professional career.

Episode 1390Lucilla and Miles feel responsible for Shado's suicide attempt. Suffocate feels terrible about lying to Nqaba and can't respond to Zothile's romantic overtures. Gail feels that she is being undermined by her mother.

Gail persuades Ronald to give her one more chance to prove that she can handle work and motherhood. Zothile receives her divorce papers. Shado's deteriorating state leads Miles to making a desperate choice.

Episode 1392Nqaba has made up his mind that Suffocate is a liar and a hypocrite. Suffocate believes that the only thing that he can do is to tell Nqaba the truth.
Shado is taking serious strain after the journalist's invasion. David tells Lucilla and Miles where to get off the bus.

Episode 1393Ronald reassures Gail about her position at the station. Suffocate and Zothile tell Andile that they're going to tell Nqaba about his lineage. Suffocate has a last-minute change of heart.

Episode 1394Suffocate is stunned when Nkhensani comes back to town. Shado discovers that Victoria's attitude towards rape comes from somewhere quite close to home.
Fats and the guys plan a revival of Miss Kilowatt. Rose is not happy to hear Jafta's excitement at ogling young women at the competition.

The church ladies condemn Miss Kilowatt as just another tight T-shirt competition and tell Fats that they will not let him proceed with his plans.

Episode 1396Suffocate wonders if Nkhensani has any unresolved feelings for him. Suffocate, David and Ronald all witness Nkhensani losing it with Ivan.
Niki moves into her own flat and won't allow Bash to move in with her. Later, Niki reveals to a horrified Gail that she is having a thing with David.

Reneilwe and Mampho almost have a fallout over the beauty competition, but decide that they would work better as a team. Niki meets a charming young man. Ivan finally makes his birthday speech and then an extraordinary thing happens.

Tshidi angers Reneilwe when she offers to help Mampho with her song for Miss Kilowatt. Miles tries to assure Shado that he and Lucilla had nothing to do with Ivan's death. Engelbrecht reveals what happened to Ivan and sets his sights on five suspects.

Episode 1401Miles later confesses to Lucilla that he suspects Shado killed Ivan. Niki is getting attracted to the idea of a relationship with Mongezi. Bash warns Niki that talking to Mongezi about her past might be a can of worms she doesn't want to open.

Episode 1402David tells Ronald that he thinks Nkhensani may have killed Ivan. Nkhensani tells Suffocate that she's frustrated because she can't go back to Switzerland. In the Miss Kilowatt stakes Rose and Mamokete are becoming almost as competitive as Mampho and Reneilwe.

Episode 1403Reneilwe thinks that Sis Bee's favouring Mampho, and insists she gets kicked off the judging panel. Niki ends up rekindling her affair with David. Shado admits that she thinks that Miles killed Ivan.

Episode 1404David, quite enjoying his role as PI, continues to investigate the murder suspects. Fats and Bash try to disqualify Sis Bee from being a judge. Suffocate overhears a startling conversation between Nkhensani and her boyfriend.

Episode 1405Reneilwe acquires a competitive advantage over Mampho and uses it to her own ends. David tells Miles he thinks Shado is the one who killed Ivan. Shado is convinced David's going to expose Miles and resolves to take a drastic step to stop him.

Episode 1406Lucilla and Miles are baffled when they find out that Ivan included them in his will. Ivan's funeral shatters Nkhensani's callous stance and she finally breaks down about her father's death. Bash is shocked to discover that Niki went out on a search for their childhood guardian.

Episode 1407David suspects Nkhensani is up to something. Miles and Lucilla are shocked at Shado's confession. Ronald tracks Solly Makhuba down.
The title of Miss Kilowatt, together with her crown and sash, is given to Mampho. Reneilwe is given the undesirable task of washing Rose's laundry for a month.

Episode 1408Gail arranges a meeting between Niki and Bra Solly. Suffocate offers to support Nkhensani at the will reading. David discovers the identity of the real killer, and wants to make a deal with Miles.

Episode 1409Ivan's will is read and the content shakes up the balance of the world. David exposes the culprit to the world. Bash has a very strong reaction to Bra Solly's reappearance, causing him to make a dramatic decision.

Episode 1410Lucilla and Miles have brought Shado home from jail. Bash and Bra Solly have a head-to-head while Niki is asleep.
David warns Miles that he will call in the favour and when he does, it's going to be big. David asks Ronald to steal the incriminating video tape from Hermanus.
