Since Big Brother South Africa disappeared years ago we've received tons of queries about it - espesh when Big Brother Africa's in town. Will the South African series ever be back?
The answer: no, never, not gonna happen
ever.
I recently discovered the definitive answer once and for all from an insider mole who spilt that DStv's stance on it is that they'll only ever do a Big Brother Africa. They'll never do South Africa again nor any other individual country - as they did with Big Brother Nigeria.
One of the reason's of course is that it's so much more cost effective to produce the show for the whole continent instead of one country.
I've been thinking about it and decided that I'm not too troubled because I enjoy how cosmopolitan BBA is - reckon I'd have gotten cabin fever a couple of seasons ago already if the house was only home to South Africa.
