DStv will be introducing a new bouquet in the wake of the imminent price increase across various bouquets.

The price of the Premium, Compact and Select bouquets will be increasing from 1 April and the new bouquet called the Family pack will be introduced on Tuesday, 9 April - to coincide with the launch of the platform's two new channels: kykNET & Kie and FOX.

The Family bouquet will cost R175 per month and will include kykNET & Kie but not FOX.

LOL @ all your comments. Am also sticking to Compact..

I thought it was top-up channel not a stand alone subscription.

I wish they could perhaps have additional movie channels that we can add to our bouquets at an additional cost perhaps...the repeats ziyandiika.

I can't believe they haven't included the M-Net Movies Family channel! - it's such a perfect tie-up you'd think it would have been at the top of the list for the bouquet.

DSTV should look to direct their choice of channels to meet the consumers of that particular market e.g If South Africa is their market, Mzantsi wethu,Magic, Vuzu, Mzantsi Music, M-net should be big on their list. For the concept is great for the cheaper subscription to access the lower and middle class but that should happen in exchange to promote local channels among the subscription payers. Though business is a trial and error concept
