Alert!Samuel L. Jackson will be guest starring on Generations tonight (31 May).
The coolest dude on the planet will be eavesdropping on Khethiwe when she has a run-in with Khubone.
Turns out Samuel's buddies with Generations creator Mfundi Vundla so the pair organised Samuel's appearance while he's been in South Africa filming for the movie Kite. He was here during the SAFTAs too where he presented an award.
Some sneak peek grabs from the episode followed by production notes of how his scene unfolds ...
Khethiwe waits for Khubone to arrive at downtown bar while drinking whiskey. When he arrives Khethiwe’s irritated, says he kept her waiting. Khubone doesn’t bother apologizing. Comments that for a woman she drinks a lot. Wonders when it all started. Before or after Khaphela died.
Khethiwe tells him to shut up, asks if she’s brought his money. Khethiwe retrieves envelope from her bag, checks around before sliding it over to him, he takes the envelope, flips through it. Unimpressed he closes the envelope, asks Khethiwe what he expects her to do with that. Khethiwe says it’s R20, 000.
Khubone says it's small change to her. He needs proper cash. Khethiwe says she can’t get more money. Khubone says a rich woman like her can. Khethiwe says everything else went to Mpilo, she doesn’t have access to more money. She can’t just withdraw when it doesn’t belong to her. All she has is Siqalo.
Khubone wants to know how much Siqalo makes. Khethiwe’s thrown - how should she know? Says its Mpilo’s future. And she’s in partnership with Ngamla. So it won’t be that easy for her to give him money from that either. Khubone demands to know how much?
Khethiwe’s put on the spot, says she doesn’t know. Khubone’s not convinced, tells her to find out. Warns her not to take too long. He’ll be back. And in case she forgot, he has the detonator. He gets up, puts envelope into his pocket, walks out.
Samuel L Jackson is sitting facing the opposite direction - he turns and advises Khethiwe.
