The brother, the mother, Prada and his wife?
A blushing bride, a reluctant groom, a desperate family but things are far from what they seem at the unusual wedding of the year.
How far will a mother go to have her own way? Prada’s mother is desperate for a grandchild. She’s also desperate to show off her two sons, as married and successful.

Prada's brother Jayesh, played by Vikash Mathura, and his real life wife JJ Mathura who plays his on-screen wife Sunita. |
Jayesh, Prada’s brother, is desperate for him and his wife to have a child. Prada is desperate to reconnect with his family, after many years of them pretending he didn’t exist.
Things take a turn when Prada’s grandfather passes away and leaves him and his brother a R1 million inheritance. The good news about Prada’s grandfather’s will is tempered with a dramatic twist. The will contains a clause that neither brother will receive a cent until they are both married - to a woman! The two brothers battle it out over the will.
For Jayesh, the money from the inheritance has come at a good time; he and his wife need an expensive fertility treatment in a Swiss Clinic and for Sunita her dream of having a grandchild is almost coming true. Unfortunately for Prada this has put him under too much pressure.

Abhi Singh, played by Ruthan Kumar, with his daughter Devina, played by Kajal Bagwandeen. |
Will Prada succumb to his mother’s constant pressure of an arranged marriage to Devina, to get his share or will he stay true to who he is and let his family down?
Prada feels the weight of a terrible family obligation. Much to Prada’s surprise Devina is not so entirely sweet and definitely not quiet when nobody is around.
Priya smells a rat, aside from her gay cousin marrying a woman for money so that his brother can have a child, something doesn’t seem quite right with Abhi Singh.
Devina’s father Abhi is a character of note: a man who seems to have more secrets than a Wiki leaks document. He is looking forward to seeing his daughter married off for a number of reasons, but none seem to be about her happiness.
