The on-again/off-again relationship that
The Bold and the Beautiful has with SABC1 and SABC3 goes through yet another soapie splitsville moment in September.
Bold will be moving back to SABC3 as from Monday, 2 September 2013 - at the same time as it's been airing on SABC1, at 18h00.
There's been talk for yearzzz (
literally!) that the soapie will be returning to SABC3 but nothing's happened with it until now. The move will be happening to coincide with the 20 retro Generations episodes coming up on SABC1 in September to mark
Generations' 20th anniversary.
Bold moves off the SABC1 schedule, the 18h30 shows on SABC1 move into Bold's 18h00 time slot and the Generations specials will be on at 18h30.
The move impacts on the early evening programming on SABC3. Various shows before the 18h30 News will air slightly earlier as a result, by between five to 20 minutes.
