You don't have to be a brain surgeon to enjoy the eighth and final season of Dexter but it helps because the season's
all about grey matter. The action of the season centres round a serial killer called "The Brain Surgeon" - who does exactly what the name suggests. Cuts out people's brains and so on.
The season premieres on M-Net on Tuesday (29 October) at 21h00 for a bittersweet countdown to the end. I've been mad about the show and Dexter himself since the very first episode so saying goodbye sucks.
Where do things begin before they end? The season starts six months after Season 7 ended. Deb's left Miami Metro because of how guilt-ridden she is after killing La Guerda. She's a total mess - drinking, drugging etc.
Batista comes out of retirement to take over as Lieutenant and Dexter's still doing his usual thang. Enter psychopath expert Evelyn Vogel and Dexter needs to face an extra dimension to his life.
Here's a trailer followed by a killer brain teaser:
Speaking of grey matter ... on Thursday someone asked me: "See if you can separate your mind from your brain."
I did, I tried and exploded with Haaaaaaaa!
Give it a try.
