The new reality TV show The Apprentice hits our boxes this week and to get in the mood and ready for action I thought you'd enjoy an introduction as to who's who! Some goss to print out and refer to until you're familiar with those competing in a competition to run one of Donald Trump's companies.

Instead of rambling on I'll get straight to Trumpy business. The 16 job interviewees we'll meet when the show begins - in alphabetical order - are:

Amy Henry

Amy
Age: 30
From: Austin, Texas

- Graduated top of her class with an MBA at Texas Christian University.
- Had millions in stock options during the whole dot-com thing and lost everything when it crashed.
- Dunno how she got millions being so young. Probably because after graduating she worked at Commerce One - a profitable Internet venture at the time.
- Current job is at a place called BetweenMarkets, which deals in start-up.
- Capital. Finding the moolah.

Bill Rancic

Bill
Age: 32
From: Chicago, Illinois

- Started cigarsaroundtheworld.com in a tiny apartment and now it's a multi-million dollar national US operation.
- Paid his college fees by starting a boat wash and wax business in Chicago.
- Enjoys adventure including scuba diving.
- Also develops real estate.

Bowie Hogg

Age: 25
From: Dallas, Texas

- Has a business degree from Texas A&M University.
- His family has lived in Texas for gazillions of years.
- Handled multi-million dollar accounts when working at FedEx as an Account Executive.
- Before starting The Apprentice he was working on a new career as a motivational speaker.

David Gould

David
Age: 31
From: New York, New York

- Is a qualified Medical Doctor and also has an MBA from New York University.
- Is a venture capitalist in healthcare.
- Raises money to invest in medical technology sorts of things.
- I'm totally not mad about the choice of glasses.

Ereka Vetrini

Ereka
Age: 27
From: New York, New York

- Learnt her business principles by growing up in her parents pizzeria in New York.
- Graduated with honors from Boston College.
- Worked as an Internal Operations Consultant for Estee Lauder in places like Hong Kong, Spain, Greece and Australia.
- Before The Apprentice she was in charge of all promotional programs for Clinique worldwide. The gifts you get at Edgars when you buy two products or more, I think.

Heidi Bressler

Heidi
Age: 30
From: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

- Has a Masters degree in Criminology from American University
- Worked with the FBI at the US National Centre for Missing and Exploited children
- Currently works as Senior Account Executive at a company called Qwest Communications
- Best sales rep in the area
- Dunno why she changed because the FBI sounds super
- Looks sooo much like Big Brother 1's Lara!

Jason Curis

Jason
Age: 24
From: Detroit, Michigan

- Graduated with a BA in Advertising.
- Chose to pursue real estate instead.
- Started his own company called JMG management LLC, owns 39 units that he rents out (mostly to low-income type families)
- Owns 11 properties.

Jessie Conners

Jessie
Age: 21
From: New Richmond, Wisconsin

- Jessie had an iffy childhood - travelling around as child, living on a farm with no water nor electricity and eventually ending up in an orphanage in Mexico.
- She now owns a hobby farm, runs chiropractic clinics after starting a chiropractic marketing and management company and is a real estate agent.
- Interesting.

Katrina Camkins

From: Coral Gables, Florida

- Graduated with a degree in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami and from the age of 18 has been a licensed real estate agent.
- Get this: at the age of 24 she's a multi-million dollar selling real estate agent and is ranked in the top three percent of the bestest in the US, selling to high profile types.
- Why does she want to be Trumped?

Kristi Frank

Kristi
Age: 30
From: Bel Air, California

- Worked as a blackjack dealer to help pay her fees at the University of Southern California where she graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Got a brokers license and started investing in real estate.
- Currently owns two properties on the beach in Santa Barbara.
- Is also co-owner of a restaurant called Juliano's RAW in Santa Monica.
- Definitely looks Southern California!

Kwame Jackson

Age: 29
From: New York, New York

- Has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Harvard. Have you noticed how many people have an MBA!? Also in South Africa. I want one too.
- Was involved in starting up dot-coms before the crash and during his time at Harvard.
- The job he's wanting to leave for the Trump - he's an Investment Manager for a company called Goldman Sachs on Wall Street.

Nick Warnock

Age: 27
From: Los Angeles, California

- Star athlete for much of his youth.
- Completed a degree at The University of San Diego.
- During summer holidays started an ice business called Nick's Authentic Italian Ice.
- Currently runs a sales team for Xerox and works only for commission.
- Obviously loopy. Commission-only is madness.

Omarosa Manigalt-Stallworth

Omarosa
Age: 29
From: Washington, District of Columbia

- Grew up in the projects of Youngtown, Ohio.
- Is into politics and worked in the White House during Clinton-and-Gore.
- Has a Masters Degree from Howard University.
- Was working towards her PhD when the show was filmed and should have it by now.
- Also image consults and trained a Miss USA, a Miss Taiwan and a Miss Guyana.
- At first I didn't think this connected with her political profession but then I realised it totally does.

Sam Solovey

Sam
Age: 27
From: Chevy Chase, Maryland

- Grew up in Washington DC, graduated from University there and in 1999 co-founded Potomac Tech Wire - an Internet Media Company which operates in seven different markets in Europe and the US.
- Looks after all sales and development for Potomac.
- Has a passion for talk radio inspired by a radio show he created during college called The Untrained Psychologist.

Tammy Lee

Tammy
Age: 36
From: Seattle, Washington

- Got a BA in Economics from the University of Washington.
- After completing studies was interested in pursuing acting in TV commercials, public relations and advertising.
- Moved into a job as a stockbroker at Merrill Lynch's Private Client Group were she worked for nine years and was an Assistant Vice President when she left in 2002.

Troy McClain

Troy
Age: 31
From: Boise, Idaho

- Unable to continue his education after school because he needed to support his mother and sister.
- Ran a health club in Spokane, Washington.
- Moved into investment, now works as a mortgage lender, owns seven properties and is starting his own insurance business.
- Has a nice smile. I'd buy a house from him.

And that's it. Soo interesting. The type of goss for these contestants. Lots of real estate types of things. There is obviously lots of moolah in this. This is a big part of Trump's business as well. Lots of web-businesses too; lots of finding-the-investment and sales.

Who's Donald Trump going to fire first? Totally on surface first impressions - who would you get rid of first and why?
