Losers In Love |
EPISODE THIRTEENI just had a near death experience! Screaming legs flung in the air from my blue couch at the return of Oma, then being totally shattered and appalled by what she did to Kwame. It was too horrible.....
Two Get Fired ProntoThe latest episode of The Apprentice was jam packed with quick-quick juicy action. One moment there were four Apprenti left, they were interviewed (very quickly) by The Donald's staff (who gave him feedback) and next thing both Nick and Amy were fably fired, leaving Bill and Kwame in a final battle to the end.
The two celebrated by drinking champagne on a rooftop and then launched into the final challenge which will secure one of them Trumpy's job. Bill has to organise a golf shindig at one of Trump's Golf Estates, Kwame has to organise a show starring Jessica Simpson at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, and to assist them as staff they were given some of The Apprenti back.
This means Bill and Kwame are now bosses to people who loathe them, and both made a humdinger of a mistake by choosing the exact same people who'd been in their previous teams. What were they thinking?!
Kwame JacksonThis name - I love it - it means The Donald (assisted by his committee who all look like giant flies) saw the light about Nick and Amy. Seeing it with Nick was waaay more important though. The moment of his annihilation when he was told he was a salesman - it was so unbelievably divine and I can't understand why Donald needed to ask The Flies - because he has us. We could have told him everything he needed to know about Nick weeks ago!
Not that I'd want to butt in or anything because I'd get so furious if I got spoken to the way he spoke to George. I thought as his right hand man he would have shown him more respect instead of putting him in his place with a *think tone* "Let me finish George." Eeeeeuw.
Not that George didn't deserve it, because he wasn't saying anything useful in his muttering - it's just, how do you hold your head up high ever again by not saying something back? I noticed his little eyes seemed to close behind his glasses for the whole rest of the episode.
There was no doubt in my mind that Bill would make it through to the final two because he definitely has what it takes, but I suspected the person joining him may have been Nick - which is why I love Kwame so much.
As far as Amy's concerned - I never ever thought she'd win because I've never thought a woman would win. I dunno what The Donald was going on about when he said everyone thought he'd choose a beautiful woman like Amy for Pres - where did he get this? Who told him this? I've never thought it.
I agreed with The Flies when they called her irritating but not necessarily when they called her a Stepford Wife, because she wasn't programmed with rubbish.
So! I'm very pleased it's Kwame because he's totally excellent - head and shoulders above everyone else except Bill. I could throttle him for being so stooopid in choosing Omarosa to work for him. Omarosa, who could be responsible for his project failing and him losing because she hasn't done the job he set her. Lying to him about what happened, saying she didn't receive a crucial phonecall when she did. How could she do that?!
The most hectic moment of this series has to be her returning to the table, having her chair pushed in behind her, looking fancy and not telling Kwame anything. If he doesn't win this is gonna be a huge reason - his strengths are his weaknesses. As Heidi (she's smoking a lot) said - he doesn't want conflict. He also trusts in people, he's put his faith in Oma and now she's using it against him.
When he discovered what had happened he should have been all over her like a horror nightmare scream and his other employees Heidi and Troy know it and they're not doing anything. If Troy is such a good friend to Kwame why does he just sit around in a smiling stupor? When they were alone in the office why didn't he threaten Omarosa with her life if she let Kwame down?
What are the implications for Oma for doing what she did? I mean - are those who've come back to work for Bill and Kwame being paid? Did they come back because it was in the show's contract? I'd think these reasons for them coming back would definitely affect what they do.
Bill RancicLike Amy and Nick's sullen loser faces when working for Bill. In this I actually think Amy was worse in her iffy attitude. The only one who seemed pleased to be working was Katrina - who, horrifyingly, was the best choice out of them all. For all her boobly faults she redeemed herself slightly by being a gracious loser, satisfied in the fact that she had the opportunity to show off her outfits again.
As for the staff at the golf club Bill's working at - could you imagine any worse environment to be thrust into? This is Carolyn's place, sweet readers. Carolyn - the iron woman who smiled! For the first time ever. When Kwame and Bill got chosen she was actually laughing and happy. How unbelievable was that?
Bill's very self confident, knows what he wants, is always in control and is assertive, even if he has to get edgy. Because Kwame hasn't demonstrated this it seems Bill is automatically the best person for the job, ie. Bill could do to George what The Donald did - but could Kwame?
And if he couldn't - would this be a problem if he were Pres? I don't think so because I reckon if Kwame was working with the right people they'd learn to respect the way he establishes and maintains status, giving them his trust. If I were The Donald these are the reasons I'd choose Kwame because I'd be very interested to what see kind of Pres he'd make.
However, with Bill I'd know that when he walked into the job he was already ready for different companies. As yet we still have no idea what companies The Donald's wanting the winner to run and I wondered if the tasks were a clue. Bill in golf, Kwame at the Taj Mahal - I think they suit the places the other way round.
And so onwards to next week's finale, which will feature the end of their final task (19h30) and then the reunion show (20h31). I'm not sure which show the winner's gonna be announced in.
This leaves final predictions! Who do ya think will win? Unbelievably it's the end and I really like them both and I'd be happy with either of them. I don't think that's ever happened.
My prediction is it will be Bill and if it's Kwame I'd be surprised. This is based on my latest theory that The Apprentice is in fact The Donald's search for a son - and Bill's more like him.
What do ya think?
