The more visible drama in the Big Brother house this second week of the show has been the inevitable warring about who's doing the housework and who's not. Dishes in particular.
You'd really think they'd have learnt from previous lots that a roster/schedule/whose-doing-what is required. But no, they prefer to learn the hard way.
The housemates also got to know each other a little better, finding out stuff about each other and sharing it with the group in a high school kinda way. Beneath the surface of these two activities that have kept them busy this week, certain relationships have seen some interesting developments.
It seems that Alex may be genuinely smitten with Abby. Alternatively he's smitten with the idea of being in love. Whatever the case Alex is a young man needing to both prove and satisfy his virility. Interestingly enough I remember noticing him express some concerns about his rooster the first day he was in the house.
He was terrified that it would get very small when he showered for us. Since then his rooster has been quite active whenever Abby's about. He's been massaged, layed on, hugged and stared-at-through-droopy-eyes, and he's given back more of the same.
Anyway, on Thursday Alex asked Abby who she was 'into' and to his understandable surprise she said: "No-one." Alex was of course hoping she was gonna blurt out: "You!" I wonder how this little liason will affect their relationship? Will Alex accept that Abby's been lying to him with all the sexual messages she's sent? He told her she wasn't 'straight up', whereas he was, ie. she's false/he's not.
Probably not, because he's currently (1:54am Friday) snuggling/lying/hoping-to-get-touchy in her bed. Don't you get it, Alex?

As for the other couple - Zein and Warona - is it just me or have those two become one big granny and grandad rolled into one?
Crikey - Zein is the most anally-retentive, self-righteous Pig I've seen in a long time. I can only assume Warona is around him because he gives her a sense of power. He's become her sidekick. She can't possibly genuinely dig him in a let's get hanky-panky way. Surely not?
And what about Tapuwa? If there's one housemate I cannot read at all it's this chick. What the stool is up with her? I mean one minute it's Zein, then it's Sammy, then it's telling Sammy he can't lie next to her on her bed. Why?
Was she getting all hot and sweaty perhaps? Was she afraid of him? She says she digs him, so why wouldn't she lie down? Sammy's made no bones about the fact that Tapuwa's his favourite, which come to think of it is interesting, because it didn't stop him weeping hysterically into Abby's arms the other night.
In fact, I've just seen an SMS that said something about Sammy kissing Abby! What's that about? I've obviously missed something! Mmmmm - let me tell ya - Sammi is one big act. From start to finish. I don't buy a thing he says. He was very good at getting those tears rolling, I must say. Leonardo di Caprio (he's cried in every movie) would be impressed.
So these seem to be the couplings in the game so far. It's interesting that most of the more defined relationships are based on sexual sorts of things. The only other fairly dynamic relationship is between Sammy and Bayo. I almost get the sense that they knew each other before. Despite their mad shouting, they're still the best of friends.
