Age: 22 Pravanya is from Stanger in KwaZulu Natal. She is a third year civil engineering student and is dating a fabulous guy. She lives with her parents and likes motivated people, honesty and integrity, movies, going out with friends, restoring old cars with her dad, watching sport and playing sport.
She’s addicted to pretty shoes and all the latest techno gadgets and describes herself as quick thinking, witty, spontaneous, adventurous, daring and funny. “I’ve got the gift of the gab – I talk a lot. My most prized possession is my car – all my money goes into souping it up. My favourite movie is The Fifth Element and my favourite food is cottage pie.”
Pravanya adores animals and has ten dogs: two Maltese, six German shepherds, one Jack Russel, and one Chihuahua. “I also have a parrot, two cats and a troop of peacocks and peahens.
“I entered Fear Factor to prove to myself that I can do all those crazy and disgusting stunts. I’ve always been daring growing up. I’ve abseiled, rock climbed and rowed across a huge river – all on the same day. My only fear is cockroaches. The bravest thing I’ve ever done is chase after a bag snatcher and actually catch him. For good luck I have my first shoe from when I was a baby. If I win Fear Factor I’ll invest the money or maybe even buy property.”
