So while the clouds are still thick in the air with the Miss SA fever, I have taken it upon myself to vent and hang my gripes about this once unpredictably exciting pageant turned politically correct ring of a tiara scuffle.
I have dug the net and found the previous title holders sorted in the years of their victory for the past 10 years… These girls are all beautiful and most of them have done exceptionally well in international pageants.
Cindy Nell - Miss SA 2002 [Oh she is a white beautiful queen]
Joan Ramokgoshi - Miss SA 2003 [Oh, she is a beautiful black girl]
We have over the years gaped on a bundle of skinny beauties from all over Mzansi go head to head for South Africa’s most elegant prestigious crown, but lately this has turned into a long chainy trend of a predictable snore.
Claudia Henkel - Miss SA 2004 [Oh, A beautiful tall white blonde queen]
Nokuthula SIthole - Miss SA 2005 [Oh, this time a beautiful black queen]
The title has rotated monotonously from a blonde hair to a black weave, ofcourse with coloreds and Indians thrown in the mix, but I personally think the title victor’s racial background is marinaded and cooked way before the staging.
Megan Coleman - Miss SA 2006 [Oh, now a gorgeous white girl]
Tansey Coetze - Miss SA 2007 [aaaah, a beautiful coloured girl wins]
I am not in any way against previous winners or racist, so before you start impregnating your ciber-guns with bullets to shoot me, I am just curious as to why the title racially interchanges every year. Can’t we have a Zodwa succeeding Bokang and Palesa succeeding Zodwa? Uhhmmm yeah! Moving on....
Tatum Keshwar - Miss SA 2008 [Oh,a beautiful and stunning tall Indian Queen]
Nicole Flint - Miss SA 2009 [Oh, now a pretty white young woman]
Bokang Montjane - Miss SA 2010 [Oh oh, now a black beautiful queen]
Black girls should run for next year’s title as they stand more chances or winning, or will it be an Indian beauty or colored?
Melinda Bam - Miss SA 2011 [BANG! a beautiful Melinda BAM]
Now all eyes are on Melinda Bam who nabbed the crown (which seems to grow smaller and smaller with years) on Sunday evening. Read up more on all the action that transpired in the Miss SA 2011 article brought to you by Toody
