Beyonce announced that she is pregnant at the
MTV video music awards last night (Sunday, 28 August 2011). She arrived on the red carpet and apparently told photographers that she has a surprise and showed off her baby bump.
The baby bump is visible so we can be certain that Bey is really pregnant after there have been many untrue rumours of her being pregnant in the past.
I think its great that she announced it herself, knowing that the world has been waiting for this wonderful news and to cut the speculations and rumours going around.
I must say I am happy for them shem especially knowing that Jay-Z won’t grow grey hair without a child as I had given up. We can’t wait to see baby Jay-B, Bey-J whatever we’re going to call this long awaited baby.
We know that Bey’s album with the single, “Girls-We Run It” is still new so she might continue performing - we just hope she will take it easy on the dance floor as we don’t want anything to happen to that baby.
On her revealing the baby bump at MTV video music awards - I can’t help but think that they probably got paid to make this big announcement there because I mean this is a big reveal by the couple and it stole the limelight of the awards.
I am sure everyone is talking more about Beyonce’s pregnancy more than the winners and performances of the awards. This is history that includes MTV in the mix as it was the biggest highlight of the awards.
But since we know the couple is rich already maybe they didn’t do that. I am just saying since American celebs are paid for everything and anything.
Anyway…
Congratulations to Beyonce and Jay-Z we now wonder what the baby’s gender is and what will be her/his name.
