Zuma-Sambudla wedding

We know it might be late but we cannot pretend like nothing happened. So during the very long weekend that we had we got to see some pics and snippets on news of the Zuma-Sambudla wedding that took place in Eastern Cape and the Royal wedding that happened in London which was broadcasted all over the world.

President Zuma’s daughter Dudu Zuma got married to Eastern Cape born business man Lonwabo Sambudla on the 23rd of April. They had their white wedding first followed by their traditional wedding.

If you don’t remember Dudu Zuma, she is President Zuma’s daughter who was always in court with him during his cases. She even testified during the rape trail. After all the drama she became famous and one of recognized business woman.

Many powerful business people and politician honoured the Zuma-Sambudla wedding with their attendance. TS records co-owner TK Nciza and his singer wife Nhlanhla Nciza were also among the famous people who attended this wedding. Zar owners, Kenny “Mr Sushi” Kunene, Gayton McKenzie and Dj Fistazmixwell were also there. They arrived in their expensive cars.

Minister of Science and Technology, Naledi Pandor accompanied by her husband Mr Pandor next to her in the car, Minister of High Education and Training Blade Nzimande, Justice Minister Jeff Radebe and Eastern Cape Premiere Noxolo Kiviet were some of the politician who showed faced at the President’s daughter wedding.

Apparently some members of the media were not allowed to cover this wedding if they didn't pay to. They were prevented to come near the premises of the lodge in which this wedding took place. Shame this was the case with General Bheki Cele’s wedding too.

The way uPresident ampitjeke ngakhona! But why? Did they have to get into this thing mara, konje what is its name?

I must say I expected a lot of glam from this Zuma-Sambudla wedding but instead it was just another wedding. From the pictures that I have seen it seems like it wasn’t that very much glamorous. It’s just that it was attended by rich people who arrived in expensive cars.

I thought it was going to be the wedding of the year. But nonetheless the wedding was beautiful and the couple was happy. Congratulations to Dudu Zuma-Sambudla (I assume her surname is a double barrel) and Lonwabo Sambudla. We wish them all the best in their marriage and that they stick to their vows.

So after the wedding on their way to Johannesburg one of Zar owners, Gayton McKenzie and Moloko McKenzie had an accident as reported on zaronline

Apparently there were already rumours that the man is dead but he is in fact alive together with Moloko. He managed to quickly get her out of the car as he thought it was going to explode.

If you don’t remember Moloko Masemola now McKenzie is former Miss SA Teen. Because of the surname change we’ll assume she is Gayton McKenzie’s wife or sister.

When she was Miss SA Teen in 2007 she was 17 years old so now she is 21 years old. She was a shy girl I remember watching her being interviewed by Noeleen on 3 Talk after taking the crown from Zizo Beda saying she doesn’t wanna be recognized when she’s in malls and stuff. Now I only wonder how old is Gayton McKenzie, just wondering

So what do you think of the wedding?

Better late than never Cheesa

I'm wondering why our very own princess' wedding wasn't broadcast live on TV yet we get bombarded with the English wedding, something that doesn't affect us in any way. I couldn't care less about the English wedding but I would have dedicated my entire time for this wedding of our President's daughter. But I can just imagine the noise South Africans would make. But seriously now, we need to start value-ing our own. How can we light the English lights and keep our Zulu lights under the table. It doesn't make sense. I applaud everyone who publishes pics of Princess Dudu.

Regardless of our our opinions on JZ, I think she did well by standing by her dad's side when she needed him most. We all need something like that when we face life's toughest challenges.

Tjo, that cow raw meat pic, where was the SPCA? Like as inseriously, does it matter how we Black people slaughter?

TS records co-owner TK Nciza and his singer wife Nhlanhla Nciza were also among the famous people who attended this wedding.
You gotta keep company of influential people baby

The Zuma wedding wasn't ayoba at al...this McKenzie guy is abusing this gal

It's his baby sister Hey!

Cheesa
03 May 2011 20:14

Oh really?! Me I thought its his wife. But why is her surname now McKenzie when it was Masemola before?

VusiK
03 May 2011 22:08

Surname is McKenzie also ... Friend who knows this crowd says its his sister ... I don't know them from a Simba Chippie ... don't really care.

Almost bust a move (She's actually nice to look at .. in the pictures) ... but better sense prevails ... don't think I want this crowd for in-(anythings) ...

I saw this one woman at the bus station when collecting a friend's child this morning though ...
*WOW* ... Talk Stallion! ... It should really be illegal to be that Yummy!

....My first question (always) ...

"Are you Married" ...
answer "Yes I Am", and out crawled the ring from behind the column ...
Rebound ... "Sorry about that ... did not see the ring ... would not have disrespected you by stepping up to you this way had I seen it"

Walked back to the car ...

The woman's been bouncing in my mind all day .... still bouncing around i there!

If anyone was at the Greyhound Bus stop, Pretoria Station at around eight this morning .... Red short-leather Jacket ... Black Jean, Short hair ... Def. Too much Make-Up .... But Mind-numbing sexy-beautiful-sexy ....... If you saw her .... You'll know what I mean!

... and I thought Mzantsi women no longer could snap my neck!

Kudos!

VusiK
03 May 2011 22:09

... but if she is Gayton's woman ... I hear he's early 30s, she looks mid 20s ... no harm there!

Lol @ the Gayton - Moloko saga. I hope she's the sister. The ceremony is not that glam but Dudu's dress is better than Kate's royal dress. I heard Dudu's “loaned” neckpiece was pretty costly

bosch
04 May 2011 09:15

@Pruluv- I disagree, Kate's dress was far more beautiful and looked expensive than Dudu's!

Did they have to get into this thing mara, konje what is its name?

hahaahaaaa.. no...they didnt have to ride on that thing...they looked cramped..so hilarious!

PruLuv
04 May 2011 10:23

@bosch - seriously?? I thought it was old & dull. Seriously thought it was Queen Victoria's & it was adjusted to fit her.

04 May 2011 12:17

Hhayi bo Dudu's mom passed away (the one who committed Suicide)...

Cheesa
04 May 2011 14:03

Hau Vusi Gayton early 30s??? He doesn't look like it though.

Kate's dress was not that bad. I think it was too simple just like her bride maid's one. Dudu Zuma's dress on there other hand it has too much lace. I dont like it shem.

I have see many nice wedding dresses made here in Mzansi. She should have watched Top Billing weddings to see who to hire to make her dress. This zenzele business is not on man.
