After reading somewhere over the weekend that the once popular former live presenter Andile ncube's contract will not be renewed when it expires sometime in April, i knew it was that time of the year when radio presenters get to be axed, reshuffled and made yesterday's news (konje where is Bad Boy T and what is he doing for a living?- maybe writing a book about his family).
I was also not particularly thrilled when i heard that Chilli M will be joining Metro FM as i kept wondering what slot he will be in (anything but that indian mafutha jam is ok, on second thoughts bring Bad Boy T back so long as he spares us information about what he and Unathi does in their house).
On Y-FM, can somebody please get Sbu off the microphone, if i get to hear him and bursaries or him calling Khanyi Mbau, i swear am gonna start going to gym. The guy is just not relevant to the station anymore, eintlik why didnt he just stick to Ukhozi Fm? he was well suited there.
On Khaya FM, dont get me wrong, i like miss Matsunyane and her homour on Television, but on radio she sounds like soweto burial society chairperson, Phat Joe was way better as he was Gareth Cliff main competitor.
Going back to Metro FM, i would like Bad Boy T back on Metro. Mrs Ndoro is classy and way too perfect for her slot. Ms Lebyane and Bab'mkhulu Leko shoul go anchor soweto community radio station, they are better off there. Glen and unathi + Mel 2 cents worth of contribution should remain untouched (i just ejoy those mini fights between Unsta and Glen, though Mel would be better off in something like Radio 702).
oops, almost forgot, Mr Mafutha Jam can go camp in Lotus fm studios for all i care.
So Bloggers, who would you like to hear in your radios and who would you want off your ears in your radio (those that irritates the hell out of you)?
*Now its time for the Avenue* (I am yet to give Dineo Ranaka a try).
