It's that time of year.
Time for sporting types to swap their active gear for red carpet swank. Some manage to look cool, others look very strange and out-of-place yet most seem to enjoy the night.
Which is happening on Sunday, 30 November this year.
Nominees for the 2014 Sports Awards ceremony were announced by the Department of Sport and Recreation at the SABC this morning. There are 16 categories and the winner of the Sports Star of the Year award will once again be chosen by the public.
The ceremony will air live on SABC1, starting at 20h00.
