Victory at last! In a purrfect episode! Every single thing that needed to happen, did. The girls' turnaround on Survivor last night was incredible - I was shocked-shocked and very pleased. The best was that they obliterated the Manono-cavemen using their brain power - all of them except Kat of course.

The crazy thing about the turn of events was that the Salami's redeemed themselves with such huge impact. At the start of the episode I was struggling to support them and didn't feel on their side at all but by the end I literally whooped out of my couch when they won.
I'm not proud to admit it but I would have played things differently if I'd been on their tribe - and it would have been a Bad move. When they were so freezing ... in that terrible storm ... I would have struck an official deal with the cavemen that they could use the boat for a day if we could use the fire for
now. I don't know how Chelsea managed to leave that fire with hands looking like that!
I would definitely have struck a deal and would have lost the advantage of the boat, fishing spears etc. I never see the boat-and-fish-tackle reward as a proper advantage so I'd give it away for a song and yet the Salami's turned it into such a huge advantage. I was so impressed with their fishing I was gobsmacked - they're like the new Ozzy.
The best was that their success gave them such a psychological advantage too - which they wouldn't have had if they'd hired their boat out to the men. Right now the men have no brain food... fish are supposed to be aren't they? ... and it's showing.
It caused them to crack and most importantly, it resulted in the destruction of Matt and his Rooster-complex. The most arrogant of the lot voted out as a direct result of the fact that the girls were smarter. It was
such fun seeing him get annihilated I chuckled all the way through. He was definitely a much better choice to get rid of than Bill. My favourite moment was when schmodel Jay-bird betrayed Matt too.
When they stood gossiping in their little circle and Tarzan told Matt they were strategising. It's nuts because even though everyone knows what's happening in those situations it's still so cringeworthy. How would you handle things? I'd find it madly difficult to
not spill what's going on.
But I wouldn't because sometimes you
have to be skullduggerous to win. Like the girls were when they used the guys' fire and refused to give them anything in return. They did the right thing for sure.
