Got a bill you haven't paid that has an entertaining story attached?

If so, Mzansi Magic's new reality show Give Me That Bill Mzansi could be for you.

The show debuts on the channel in January 2015 and will be searching for contestants in early November.

The series will be hosted by Kenneth Nkosi and Tats Nkonzo who'll get contestants to play crazy games. The prize? Contestants could win money to pay towards their unpaid bill - or, for the final winner, a large portion of the total amount owing will be taken care of.

Nkateko Mabaso, M-Net’s Director for Local Interest Channels, has this to say about it:

The show is irreverent in many ways but at its heart is the very serious fact that we know that many of our viewers are frequently  battling to pay their bills. Give Me That Bill Mzansi is our way of making light of situations and giving people in need a helping hand.

Audition dates and venue

Auditions are only happening in Johannesburg, at Bassline in Newtown: 10 Henry Nxumalo Street.

Dates: Saturday 1 November and Sunday 2 November 2014.

Doors are open from 08h00 to 17h00. Auditionees are encouraged to arrive early.

Audition must-knows

Auditionees are required to take along bills that are linked to a wild, funny, bizarre, touching or embarrassing story.

This could be an incredibly expensive telephone bill, the laundry bill for the red wine you tipped all over your mother-in-law’s designer dress, the gym classes you promised your spouse you would definitely cancel, expensive extras for that wedding party that broke the budget, the fake ticket you bought for a live concert or even the water damage that resulted when your neighbour asked you to help rescue his donkey from a ditch and you forgot to switch off your bath (don’t laugh - it has happened!). If you have a story attached to your bill, the show wants to hear it.

Who is the show looking for?

The show is looking for contestants who meet three key criteria: a bill with a story, you must be over 18-years-old, with a vibrant personality.

How to enter

You can fill in this entry form on Mzansi Magic's website: Give Me That Bill Mzansi entry form.

You can take your completed form to the auditions. Forms will also be available there.
