A heads-up that eNCA will be airing the funerals of Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa and Olympic silver medalist Mbulaeni Mulaudzi. Both of their services will air live on Saturday (1 November) between 06h00 and 15h00.
Senzo, who was also the Orlando Pirates captain, was shot dead at his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo's home in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni on Sunday night.
Former Olympic athlete Mbulaeni was killed in a car crash on Friday, 24 October. He was an 800m Athens 2004 Olympics silver medalist and a Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games gold medalist.
A flag bearer for South Africa at the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Athens, Mulaudzi became South Africa's first black athlete to be ranked No 1 in the world. After a decorated career which spanned over a decade, the 34-year-old retired in 2013.
Mbulaeni's funeral service starts at 06h00 and runs until 08h00 and Senzo's service starts at 08h00 and airs until 15h00.
Update:
The SABC News channel on DStv will be broadcasting the funerals too. They'll also be covering Phindile Mwelase's funeral. Phindile died on Saturday after failing to wake up from a coma after she was knocked out in a fight two weeks previously.
