SABC1 has distanced the channel and the show from a Generations cast list which was revealed at the weekend. On Sunday (2 November)
Sunday World featured a story which stated that 15 new and returning actors have been cast on the soapie following the fiasco which ended in the total shutdown of the show.
The story mentions names and the characters they'll be playing. These are the actors and the roles that are mentioned:

So how true is it? TVSA spoke to SABC1 who told us that the cast list doesn't come from an official source and that neither SABC1 nor the show are quoted in the article. SABC1 publicist Phillip Mabitsela tells us that neither the channel nor Generations has revealed the cast and that no final decisions have been communicated to anyone.
The cast list and character names are very specific though which suggests that the list could have been leaked and there could be truth to it. The only very dodgy inclusion is Rapulana Seiphemo returning as Tau. Re-re-re-re-resurrecting Tau
