Following various requests from viewers, MultiChoice and kykNET have decided to offer fliekNET to viewers who are subscribed to the DStv Extra package as well. This channel will thus now be available on the DStv Premium - as well as the DStv Extra package.
fliekNET is a new channel which will be broadcast from 10 December to 31 January 2015. Some of the most popular Afrikaans movies that have been produced over the years will be showcased on the channel during this period.
There is literally a movie for every preference, event and mood to enjoy over the festive season.
Action movies like Boetie Gaan Border Toe, Boetie op Manoeuvres, Kaptein Caprivi and Aanslag op Kariba will keep the adrenaline junkies busy, while comedies like Lipstiek Dipstiek, Molly en Wors and Orkney Snork Nie will ensure some comic relief.
For the more serious drama enthusiast there are films like Siener in die Suburbs, Nag van die 19de, Paljas and Fiela se Kind, while the people who are feeling musically inclined can look forward to movies like Jy is my liefling, Hoor my lied and Pretville.
Movies such as Hoofmeisie will ensure that parents get some time to themselves and for the history lovers there are movies such as Daar doer in die bosveld, Katriena, Moedertjie and Kom saam vanaand. For those who loved films from the 70’s and 80’s there is ‘n Pot vol winter, Snip en Rissiepit, Tant Ralie se Losieshuis to look forward to.
There are also television series that have been reworked into films such as Vyfster, Nommer Asseblief and Agter Elke Man.
