How disgusting is the return of the "mighty" Generations? notice how i put mighty in inverted commas, I couldn't get away with such statements before but now its not even debatable. I am mortified when the clock strikes 8. I dunno wether to tune in and laugh or cry. Look Generations hasn't had a great script for a long time and before it was okay because they had great actors. Now they have bad actors, bad settings/lighting and bad script. The only thing that convinces one that its 2years ahead is the gadgets, that's all. The other alarming thing is that these so called bad actors are great in other soapies, so do they get put under some spell? So for the first time last night I tried to find myself something to watch at 8PM. I watched BA Kae? Just in time to catch Robert Whitehead being interviewed by his former cast member. No regrets!! So perhaps, I'm gonna draw a schedule for the most intelligent soapie Lovers. An 8pm,Monday to Friday schedule and its not gonna pay off because as terrible, as disgusting, as hopeless as Generations is, people are still gona watch, even for the wrong reasons!!!
So if you ever thought that SABC1 will never endorse Ekasi stories, you thought wrong.
