He was the most boring and perfect man, husband and father in all of soapie land. Sadly the downfall of Rajesh K. only proves that soapie men arent meant for such godly titles. Because viewers want drama, unfortunately at the height of the drama, the writers toned it down. The only dramatic thing was when Priya cried, not when she found out, her reaction like her marriage was boring, banal and lacked alot of drama. She's a police officer, we expected her, we wanted her to take Zak into some dark room and question her over and over for days. Maybe that's still coming because, soapies love holding back on its viewers, they thrill on suspense. Sometimes it drags for years, months or weeks, but when it comes, o boy, we love it. The couple create the idea that there's still more to come, maybe I'm just impatient because their marriage has been dull for years and years.
Still, we will always cherish Mr.K for taking in a child that wasn't his and we forgive him for wanting one of his own, because indeed Priya should give something back. And has anybody else noticed how Zak looks like the Indian version of Priya. They once sat together, and I watched their little noses, their thick legs, small waist etc. Features are remarkable. Zak would make a perfect girlfriend to Ace, there's one conversartion between them that haunts me. She sounded like a home wrecker, like she preys on married men and when they are at the height of their hunger for her she releases them. I was very shocked how quickly Rajesh fell for him, to just leave his marriage, I've never never seen an Indian man leaving his family. Aren't they the most faithful?
I'ts just a soapie right? The thing that pisses me off the most, is that Rajesh hides under Hiranya, notice everytime Priya wants to start venting, he'll say:" Not while the child is her". Come up with a better line Sir, we are bored to death. Come on!!! And when is Barker gona findout out? Thats's when the whole affair will be spiced up, hopefully.
In my opinion, this has been the most boring marriage in the history of soapies, they should take some spicing lessons from Katlego and Lincoln.
Thanksbye!!!
