kykNET & kie wants to find two new Afrikaans speaking presenters and the channel's launched a search to make it happen.
The search starts online and then moves into the real world for the final phase.
Who should apply?
Fluent Afrikaans speakers between the ages of 22 to 28.
The channel describes their ideal candidates as "intelligent, eloquent and confident."
How to enter:
You need to submit a full length photo and a video that shows off your abilities, as well as a motivation explaining why you should be kykNET & kie’s new presenter.
The entry process starts online via WeTranfer. The entry process:
1. Go to
WeTransfer.
2. Fill in kyknet@kyknet.co.za in the "friend's email" block.
3. Fill in your e-mail address in the 'your email' block.
4. Write your motivation for in the body of the e-mail message.
5. Also include the following in the message body: your name, age and where you live.
6. Attach a full lenth picture of yourself.
7. Attach a video of yourself presenting.
8. Click "WeTransfer".
Closing date for submissions: 15 February
Finalists will be chosen from the online entries and will be announced on the kykNET & kie website. The finalists will attend auditions on 20 February in Johannesburg and the winners will debut on air on 1 April.
