Mazwi reminds me of Zakes Moroka, Archie's half brother. Not only because he is a bastard son of the Morokas just as Zakes was when he appeared, but his storylines are similar to Zakes' back in the 1990s. His conflicts with Smanga are the same to the ones of Archie and Zakes, so far at least. I just hope he wont get murdered like Zakes. Now Karabo is back on drugs after more than 15 years or so. Maybe the producers are targeting young viewers who don't know the roots of the original show.

I think so too. I also think that the producers have become sceptical of some members of the main cast, that is why we see new characters almost every month. Perhaps a couple of them could replace those who might leave the show. But I still believe this idea is detrimental to the show. Viewers have warmed up to Mary and they are not happy that she is leaving. We got used to Karishma and she left. Now there is the beautiful Sarah (Gail Mabalane). We'll get used to her and if she leaves, viewers will begin to think that this is becoming a waste of time, especially considering the debacle of last year.

If the teasers are anything to go by, Nolwazi will end up with Mazwi and probably get married. I like her, she is sassy, confident and determined. So I'd definitely like the idea of her being a main character. But I also want Sarah to remain.

Sarag(Gail)is not staying cz she is part of the new telenovela on Mzansi magic .yah this new characters every month are starting to irritate me .I have no idea y Zola was added in the first place .he has not done anything to show he deserves to be on the sho .as for nolwazi being a main cast memember ,maybe is because Thando Thabethe has the 5fm job ,her 1s and 2s presenting job .I think her schedule won't allow her to be permanent .

@Ms Opinionated I think Mfundi Vundla is realising that it was a bad idea to hire prominently an unknwn and inexperienced cast that nobody identifies with .by bringing back the like of Vusi kunene as Jack Mabaso at least the show with have some experience even Connie and Rapulana decide to leave .I think Vuyo Dabula(Gadaffi) was let go or fired because Jack was coming anyway .he is a great actor n he will help the show to gain some credibility again .maybe Queen/khethiwe might return .I still think even Dineo might come back .the next couple of month are gonna be interesting

@Max85 and that why Gold Diggers is a bit of a threat to him, if you think of high profile actors it is getting. I feel sorry for him only realising now that actors actually are as big as shows are. Look at Uzalo for example, they cant deny the power of Gxhabhashe,, with that said it doesnt mean actors can be drama king and queens, they and production houses need to appreciate one each another.

Bring them back man, lets drop the pride its not serving anyone. The only blessing in disguise was Bongi Ndaba leaving, the legacy story line is much better.

Mfundi is getting bad advice from his other producers. The departure of Gadaffi so early will cause an irreparable damage to the show that I grew to love. If Vusi Kunene is coming back as Jack Mabaso that wont be a bad idea but Gadaffi was a big deal to the show and obviously to the vast fan base. The new writers are the ones that let down the character. I am still hurt by that decision and honestly, even though I'm trying to be optimistic, I fear a huge downfall of The Legacy this time.

most people wish legacy to end which will never happen..legacy is an iprovement of the old one....legacy doese not need any of the fired actors... credit must be given to mfundi vundla cz its doing very well ....some of the fired actors thought that generations would be nothing without them bt they were wrong...sometimes change is gud...athandwa kani said when 1st episode of legacy aired"that moment when extras become leads"which says something abt him being jalous bcz people atacked and told him to shut up.. menzi ngubane said"mfundi /generations never maid him"bt truth mfundi made her the man he is ...

I hope the writers will create a suspense storyline about who shot and killed Gadaffi which will revolve around possible suspects who detest him such as Tshidi, Cosmo, Tau or even Karabo. Almost like the Scandal storyline of the murder of Neo Chabedi in prison. Let the viewers stay on the edge of their seats and keep them guessing about a possible suspect. A cliffhanger.

i would like Tsidi to kill Gadaffi , i dont like the way he treated Tsidi,, or how abt Cosmo go and tell Tau everything then Tau kill Gadaffi himself,and i saw a drum magazine saying Vuyo Dabula ask Mfundi for a raise thts why Mfundi said NOOOOOPE,, u can take your bags and leave or stay with Generation Legacy,, i thnk u bhuti has a big head now,, uzibona enemali and u Generation will be nothing without him akayazi ukuthi u Bra Mfundi can do to you,, he must ask Sophie Ndaba,, all the other ex generation actors have jobs only Queen with Cell C which the contract is finished all ready,, we wont even noticed her on the street again.

Conni ferguson really disappointed me on todays's episode .she should have done more as worried mother who might possibly lose her last shot at motherhood .I expected more emotion from her

@Max85, as the teasers says Karabo will remain strong but will finally break down on Monday 24 August. I am worried about Gail Mabalane (Sarah) a week goes by without seing her seemingly she does not have anything to do, since Smanga will now seduce Simphiwe. They added her to waste her time they were not supposed to add her.

@show-time tanx for clearing up the karabo issue ,it was strange to me .Maybe Sarah will have a bigger role next month hey .I saw tweets that said it some of Mary's last scenes .I mean that was fast .usually it takes three months to write a character out .

Apparently the evil Gadaffi has decided to stay at generations after all .the producers could not deny/comfirm the reports .they just said they prefer the viewers to be surprised /entrigues by the storyline coming about FIFI .which means he is staying

Another cliffhanger on tonight's episode. No one can claim that they predicted that Gadaffi will switch baby Mogale with a dead one from another family. What is next? I think Cosmo will eventually be the one to tell Tau the truth and where the baby is being kept. Cosmo seems to hate Gadaffi's wicked plans. Someone has to put a stop to this madness. It was disheartening to see Tau crying.

Cosmo is soo slow he annoys me, he is a sucker for pain nje from Sbusiso to Gadaffi. He needs to have Lucy's drive and stop being a whimp. He knows this is wrong I dont know why he isnt going to Tau to tell him before the baby was killed and maybe strike a deal with him and get some money out of it. Tau is clever im sure he would have played the game with Gaddaffi if his son's life was spared

@Ms Opi Tau's baby is not dead .I don't think it will take that long before Tau finds out that baby Mogale is alive and with another family .next week Gadaffi is gonna beat up tshidi so bad .that's when Tau will start taking the blinders off regarding Kumkani .this is good writing

Johannesburg- The Juice has reliably learnt that Vuyo Dabula, who plays Gadaffi, has made a surprise u-turn, and will not be leaving Generations:The Legacy.

Sources close to the situation revealed to us that Vuyo has been in negotiations with producers for weeks now, and an agreement was finally reached on Friday.

"After a series of meetings between Vuyo, his management and producers, Vuyo has decided to remain with the soapie. Vuyo and his agents have perused the contract and are happy with everything," our source says.

The news comes hot-on-the-heels of a press statement, which was released by the Generations production team a few weeks ago, confirming Vuyo's exit. (Read that story here)

According to the statement, Vuyo had apparently asked to be released from his contract to pursue other projects.

Generations: The Legacy publicity manager, Gaaratwe Mokhethi, would neither confirm or deny the news.

"At this stage we would rather let the story unfold in a way that it keeps viewers intrigued and pleasantly surprised," she told The Juice.

Ms opi let me make a summary for u:Gadaffi bribed the doctor with 10million rands to switch the babies .baby Nyaathi was gonna die anyway so Gadaffi conviced the doctor to make it appear like baby Mogale is baby Nyathi ,that's how he pulled off the death .cosmo just brought the money to hospital ,he was not involved in the switch .Gadaffi is really evil
